Those were great. I think the first random thoughts thread morphed from a Friday confession thread.
So we are supposed to confess things in the RTTs? Well, I got a few things that I’ve been saving up.
I'm not willing to say Jackson is a good or bad defender, but that video proves nothing. TJ got Bolton to leave (allegedly), but Jackson hasn't. May TJ has watched more video than you or I.
Couldn't agree more with your last point. Of course the same can be said for forwad and post play.
Jackson showed potential as a defender as a freshman, but he was awful as a sophomore. And his offense was even worse. He was a disappointment. Hopefully a fresh start helps him get back to what he showed late his freshman season.
We aren't hearing a lot of transfer chatter because our team sucks, and everyone else needs to fill roster spots too. We're going to get a couple decent transfers at some point, but we'll have to wait until all of the other better programs get their pick. Prohm sunk this program to levels I didn't think were possible.

It’ll be great when Hunter stays committed, Walker makes a big soph jump, and Hinson and Foster are great Big 12 players and we talk about how TJ is “winning with Prohm’s players”
I have thought about how bad Prohm would look of next year we actually look good. I know that’s thinking way to optimistic, but still.
You have? Since Prohm is gone, I have zero desires to make him look anything. It would be much more productive to think about how our current coach can end up looking good.
It was definitely a “tongue in cheek” post. I hope we get at least 2 high level transfers and it’s not a point of conversation, but if we don’t I’d rather be talking about how much they over achieved and say “I’m so glad Prohm got them here”.
And hopefully the first step of that process is TJ locking down one of Prohm’s top recruits, Tyrese Hunter. Sounds like we will find out soon.

100%. Prohm is a good person who wanted to be here badly and took over in a situation where a lot of people were never going to give him (or anyone who replaced Fred) a chance. It didn’t work out and obviously it got ugly at the end. But he’s gone. Let it go and give our new staff a chance to try and rebuild. I’m excited to see what they can do.
Some people on this board are absolutely brutal to CSP and forget that these are people here. Same with players who struggle. You can be critical and even argue someone needs to be fired or transfer but you should NEVER make light of it or forget these are human beings. Come on!
Gabe Kalschuer was just a good get. How about we give TJ some time to try to get things going?
