There was talk about the ghosts earlier today, and I must say that they have been excellent at staying active, and they have been hammering their tasks. Better than the alive players actually. There was one person today that forgot to submit actions for the day, so they ended up just standing around doing nothing.

So if we all complete our tasks do we win? AKA, I should probably stop observing so much?
Tbh was saving my 3 step task for when I died. Being that I’m still alive I will get started on it tomorrow. All my one and two step tasks are done
I don’t know if it’s a good thing or bad thing that I had the same question and was operating under the same logic as you.

Shame them in the ghost thread.

Sorry, I probably shouldn't have called em out in the thread. I remembered after I posted it that they can't post in the thread.

I traveled to weapons, fixed wires, and then observed. I saw Cleaver shooting asteroids and Michael in the room as well.

Welcome to Among Us Mafia!

For this game, we are all onboard of a spaceship known as "The Skeld". The innos are regular crewmates, and the mafia are imposters. The imposters will win by killing off enough crewmates until there is an equal number of imposters as there are crewmates. The imposters can also win by sabotage if the crewmates are unable to fix a certain sabotage. Crewmates win by either voting out the imposters or by completing all of their tasks.

Game play: Everyone in the game will have 3 "actions" that they can perform each day. To start with, every player will be in the cafeteria (I will post a map later). Actions that you may take include moving to a different room of your choice, observing your surroundings, interacting with task stations, or watching the security monitor (which is in the security room). Because each player has three actions during a day, when you observe your surroundings, you will only see what happens in that room during that third of the day. The "observing you surroundings" will tell you what other players are in the room with you, if they are doing a "visual task", if there is a dead body in the room, if you happen to catch an imposter murdering somebody, or if an imposter "vented" in that room. Every player will be given a list of tasks that they must perform before the innos are able to "win by tasks". Some tasks may be finished in one step, while others will have two or three steps to them. I will give about one third of crewmates a "visual task", which is a special task that can confirm that you are inno if another player watches you do this. I will list the possible tasks later on and which ones are visual. If you watch the security camera, I will tell you what players go certain directions in the hallways during the third of the day that you spend watching. You may watch for 2/3 of a day or a full day if you wish, but that will cost 2 or 3 actions to do so. The specific hallways will be 1) Between the Cafeteria, Med Bay, and Upper Engine 2) Between Weapons, O2, Navigation, and Shields 3) Between Upper/Lower Engine, Security, and Reactor 4) Between Cafeteria, Storage, and Admin.

I will have each player send me their actions for the day sometime in the morning. Please have your actions sent to me by noon each day. Towards the end of each day, I will report back on what you saw or the progress of your tasks. I will try to get back to everyone between 7 and 8 PM, so hopefully you will still have time to vote once you receive that day's information.

Imposters: The imposters will get a kill every night, and it will be their option each day if they wish to make a day kill. Of course any day kill runs the risk of being exposed if they are caught in the act. The imposters will also have three different one time use "sabotages". These will be "lights", which turns out the lights until someone travels to electrical and uses an action to fix the lights. While the lights are off, nobody will be able to observe the imposters making a kill or venting. Second, they may sabotage communications or "coms". This turns off the security camera until it is fixed (someone needs to travel to the communications room and use an action to fix it). Third, they can cause a reactor meltdown. If this is not fixed by the end of the day, everybody dies and the imposters win. To fix this, two people must travel to the reactor and use an action to fix it at the same time. When the mafia use a sabotage, I will announce it early in the day, so people will be able to act accordingly. The imposters must decide during the prior night phase to use a sabotage. There will be no sabotage on the first day. Imposters may even take the actions to "fix these" themselves if they choose to. Imposters are the only ones with the ability to "vent". This allows them to move from one room to another without going through the hallways (so they won't be seen on the security camera). It also makes for a quick gettaway once a murder takes place.

If someone is leaving a room (through a hallway not a vent) the same time another person enters, I will give each a 50% chance of noticing who came/went without costing them an action. Say the imposter's actions for a day are 1) move to electrical 2) kill 3) leave electrical via hallway, and a crewmate's actions are 1) Do task 2) Observe 3) Move to electrical, those two players would meet only in passing. They would each get a 50% chance of noticing the other. Now, if the mafia member had used a vent, they would not be noticed unless someone was already in the room and used the "observe" action.

Here is the map of the ship, and the "vent map"

Once you die:
Ghost innos still need to complete their tasks in order to win. Also, all ghost innos will be allowed to chat with each other, but they should not ghost post in the thread at all.

Nice! So Cleaver is a confirmed innocent. And now that SCNCY has posted, I’m assuming azhuth got killed today.

I guess I thought the tasks needed to be done in addition to getting the imposters out. Didn’t realize we could win without really even getting any of them out

We even had the discussion in the thread about the math of how quick we could finish tasks before all innocents could be killed off. The odds were in our favor after not losing innocents to the lynch mob on days 1 and 2. Don't make me vote you out so you can focus on tasks.

This game has been much more of a hard skim than most due to most of the information comes from salty. Chill out, I only have my three step task to finish and this game won't be over in 2-3 days
