You'll have to add Moser, Fred, Beilein, and Motta to contest at well.

I REALLY hope this is sarcasim...

Why? Moser would have said no and made more money staying at Loyola. The Fred ship sailed, some still haven't realized that and need to move on... It's not healthy nor does it look good for those who are still holding out hope.. Beilein is 70 years old. He would have wanted a fortune and definetly isn't lookig for a 2-22 rebuild at this stage in his life... Motta failed a physical and is relagated to a David Hobbs, support coaching role at Inidiana because of it

He’s known for fake sources, it’s not premium info
Did Grant Gibbs tell you this?
I’d feel better if you would predict he’s going elsewhere TBH.
Should a new thread be created now or after Tamin Lipsey commits to us?
I’ll come back to this in a week or so

bumping this for you @Acylum, @IndyClone15, @Dandy. Smooches

I didn’t know what thread to put this in, but as it relates to TJ, what makes him such an effective recruiter?

Seems like most coaches say the same things and all likely use some creativity to some degree, what’s the difference with TJ?

Strictly going off of recent quotes from Lipsey and Hunter, both have said that TJ and the staff have been tenacious and really done a great job showing those guys that they are priorities for the program. One bit I really liked that I heard from Hunter was that they were watching tape with Hunter, not only of himself but of other guys on the team or who were coming in and explaining how they think they will/can play together and be effective. I'm not sure what normal recruiting is like but that's a detail I don't know if I've heard before.

I've spoken with Otz twice at golf outings. He's very easy to talk to. He doesn't give off any fake personality vibes when trying to talk to you like some coaches do. I was impressed that he would look at me and almost acknowledge I existed versus some coaches who couldn't give two Fu**s when they have to talk to fans. Very present in to moment.

Williams and other media members have said he's just a hard worker with relationships. Same thing Campbell's staff does. They just work harder than others at building am authentic relationship

How is Craig Smith doing so far out there in Utah?
I have to admit he might have been one of my top two choices, along with Cleveland State's Gates.

Don't know too much about Utah recruiting so far, other than they lost top scorer/rebounder Timmy Allen to Texas. They have added David Jenkins from UNLV.

Comparativley TJ is doing quite well.
Utah men’s basketball transfer Timmy Allen commits to Texas, new head coach Chris Beard (sltrib.com)
Utah and Craig Smith officially welcome David Jenkins Jr. (247sports.com)

Is this a Hogue type guy, just not as versatile? By the way, how tall was Hogue for real?

DH was around 6'6" with shoes on. Junk yard dog! Looking at the few videos of Trey Wade... He's a superior athlete to Hogue. Doesn't have the set shot from the corner like DH had. But he can shoot.

Analytics say he was underused and highly efficient on offense

Yes, but can he make a toothpick look good?
