Not bad.
Certainly not splashy, at all.
Some more depth is always good. They should flesh out some thin spots.

Schuyler is an NCAA Qualifier, 2 years of eligibility left.
Kraisser, I don't know much other than he just has one year left. He's probably about the same level as our other 165 guys, I would imagine. Maybe will make the competition there a bit more of a battle. Time will tell.

Cliff notes on them?

Schuyler is a solid option (top 20 or so ranking) if Grem doesn’t come back and allows Greenlee and Schon a couple years to develop

don’t know much on Kraisser but depth at 165 is good for the team

I’m seriously going to miss Gremmel. Will feel so weird not counting on him at the end of duals.

Hey @buf87 I’ve always wondered if that’s short for Buffalo and if you are a heavyweight?
I posted this clue to the new transfer after getting a DM from Buf. He swore me to secrecy, but felt a message like this would be ok.

Apparently not because Buf has cut off all his insider information since. So I apologize to the board for blowing it.

Doesn't feel like we are taking things to the next level. Consider me very underwhelmed.
Just curious...Outside of Iowa & PSU what program(s) would you consider successfully hitting the transfer market and taking their program to the next level? Are those programs also having success in recruiting HS kids? What transfers have we missed out on that you think we should have had?

I exclude Iowa & PSU because they are currently the "hot teams" that have a lot of excitement surrounding their recent successes much like Alabama & Clemson in college FB. I'd argue that ISU is already trending to the "next level" with the recruits that we've landed and the success of Carr and our other young guys this past year (Terukina, Redding, Robinson, Yonger, etc). Our depth has come a long way. I guess you could say Gremmel is also a example of a "underwhelming" recruit. I'm not sure who some are expecting us to get from the Transfer market. The only two weights that I see a need were addressed (165 & Hwt). We also have guys in the room that will make a run at those spots. It looks like Griffith is going to stay home at Stanford (I hope at least). Wick would be great (I don't think he's made any announcements yet) but I also don't know how much $$ we have to give and he's got a brother at another program so I guess I'm not going to be to disappointed should he choose a different destination. Honestly, I don't know who else in the transfer portal that's better than the guys we're bringing in or the guys already in the room.

Just looked at the updated portal list on Flo. That's a long list of names. I expect Iowa and PSU to get some cream from the top but we got kids I've never heard of with mediocre results from mediocre programs. I didn't want to initially say it that way but that's my first impression. That's not taking it to the next level.

I am very aware of where we have been and where we are with our current guys and the recruits we have signed. I will give the coaches a lot credit for that. I want to take it to the next level.
