The more pictures I see of the vertical concrete slabs, the more I dislike them. It sure seems like they could have came up with a design that doesn't look like so "medieval". The SEZ has the same concept but no gaps in the concrete slabs which looks much cleaner.
The SEZ has the same slabs but also has the flag poles mounted that fly the Big XII team flags. So I expect that the NEZ will do the same and you won't even notice the embrasure/ crenels / battlements.
It’s to allow people walking on the concourse to see out. Notice that the slope of bottom of the openings matches the slope of the concourse. Also, some of the renderings show a continuous ribbon that connects the tops. This may not be the finished look.Similar, but not quite the same... having said that, I'm fine with both although I do think it's odd they didn't use the same style. I'm sure there's a reason for that?
