Here is a quote from Jason's Coach in a UK article about his visit there.

“Jason is a very talented kid,” Coach Palmer explained. “He’s extremely strong, he’s a very well-built young man. He’s 6-foot-2, up to about 204, 205 (pounds). His bench is over 300 pounds, he squats close to [400]. He works his tail off–on and off the field. The thing that is most intriguing to everyone across the board is his ceiling is so much higher than where he’s at right now. He goes out there and makes great plays and catches over top of people or breaks three tackles and goes to the house. He does all these things and you’re still sitting there going ‘This guy could be even better once he figures it out,’ because he’s only played three years of football… He could take a two-yard throw and take it to the house from 50, 60 (yards) out with relative ease.”

It also said that Jason is young for his class. It said he won't turn 18 until next July.

I turned 18 during my freshman year at ISU (September), so it's not so unusual. I like to think I got a year's head start on life. Doesn't sound as if his youth is holding back this young man from great things!

Not to be over the top (literally), but what I see is a kid who with a lot of work could be similar to Xavier Hutchinson.

And that guy works.

I'm not ready to go there yet. If he get's after it in the weight room with coach Andrews... He has the frame to be great, plus the basketball background to go get the ball

I didn't watch the whole highlight video, but I like that they show some clips of blocking. He looks pretty decent at doing so and that is a part of the game our receivers are asked to be good at.

His ability to eat up blockers combined with his size/frame give me La'Michael Pettway flashbacks. He's going to be an absolute bully. Would be a huge get.
Blocking goes a long way to assuring yourself a spot in the league too. Ask Lazard.

He already has a P5-ready body. According to his twitter account, he's 6-3, 205, runs a 4.5 40, benches 300 and leg presses 375. Yes, he could benefit from a college weight room, but who couldn't?

More talking about if he were to be compared to the #1 or #2 receiver in the Big 12 who held an OU offer. Plus I trust self reported high school stats about as much as players of color trust Brian Ferentz

I think I saw a post where that said it was actually a 4.57 40.

Have to say, I almost wish these analysts would NOT put in Crystal Balls for recruits. We all know they just change them at the last second if necessary. And it has to be tempting for a recruit to mislead these guys just for the element of surprise. I, for one, put no confidence in these CBs and will check in at 7:00 hoping for the best.

ya.. I think it is good news that on the day he is planning to announce we still have the CB in our favor. Early on, not as meaningful. Also, he is wearing an ISU jersey in his recruiting profile pic...

But we'll see. You never know. Even after a guy commits, you never know what will happen until they sign.
