We're probably just going to pull a Big East and raid teams from other conferences. Houston, Memphis, and Cincy are god places to start.
If ND does join the ACC, then that conference becomes much harder to raid. They’d be adding a top 5 current and historic program that would bring in a ton of additional money. The ACC schools will know that ND changes the game for them. There isn't a ******* chance in hell the B10 takes ISU. B10 can sit tight and let things develop. Certainly no need for them to reach at a KU or ISU right now - likelier IMO that they'd look at a UVA, BC type move anyway
If OU and UT are going to the SEC they aren’t waiting 4 years. They aren’t waiting more than 1.
Best thing to do would be to sit tight with the remaining 8 teams until 2025 and collect that ESPN money and split it only 8 ways. Figure it out from there and try to negotiate a spot in the PAC. That’s the only play.

Where would you start? Outside of throwing a crap ton of cash at Notre Dame(who is never coming) there's not really anywhere else to go. The Pac 12 and Big 10 aren't inviting us.Not really.
In your scenario it would feel like the Old Big East football conference.I actually like parts of this, but you can’t call yourself the Big 12 if this is the case. Find a new identity and maybe see if bringing 2 new schools on board is even a possibility. Would the remaining 8 have any desire to stay together? Would anyone of value want to join in if the leftovers were truly committed to sticking it out?
