We won the last Big 8 basketball championship down in KC. Might as well win the last Big 12 football championship as well.

But greed is good, right?

The amount of greed involved in this is beyond staggering. Look at Texas.... they basically print money.... and that's still not enough for them.

If this all goes down.... I sincerely hope all this ungodly greed destroys everyone in the new SEC.... and ESPN.

The only way ISU survives this I'm afraid is if we get a B1G invite or join the PAC 16 and it somehow does well.

Anything short of that and we're in deep trouble IMO. Adding some worthless schools to the remaining Big 12 won't do it I'm afraid.

We have tasted success.......and we love it. If this was happening during the Criner/Walden years we would be welcoming any and every worthless school in the country with open arms.

Just for ***** and giggles, if they did do that, the Big 12 could swoop in and merge with some of the PAC leftovers. Arizonas, Colorado, Utah, to get back to 12?

I'm just trying to imagine a world where Rust Belt and Midwest schools voluntarily make a pact with California schools. That seems like a recipe for disaster

Not exactly sure.

Wouldn’t be the worst option. Big ten would be 2, outside shot at 4, so there would be several solid schools out there.

Yeah, how is USC/UCLA to the B1G NOT good for us? I presume it would accelerate a Pac / Xii merger. Who's not down for that?
