Oh. So why bother with KC? Just list the FBI report of how much they were giving recruits when they weren't supposed to. Now that they can, the only restrictions is how many bags they can find to fill.

You know damn well that some of these schools will be selling recruits the endorsement agreements that they've already set up for the incoming players

The new terminal is going to kick ass. Finally going to be able to be a hub or focus city having only one security checkpoint. Better flights back to the Midwest.

Other than the fact you have to put Kansas into the GPS, and in doing so realize your soul is in the hands of KU fans running the airport.

There must be something in the water down in KC. Saw the below comment in article about rumor of Jayhawks to Big10. This KU sports writer/blogger is absolutely delusional!!

While many conferences would turn away from KU because the Kansas football program is very clearly a fixer upper, the Big Ten has plenty of football programs like that. It’s not like Rutgers, Nebraska, Illinois, Purdue, Michigan, or Michigan State looked great last season. And there’s a very real chance that several of those teams won’t see significant improvements under their current coaching staffs.

KU football a fixer upper? KU football is a demo & rebuild. To put KU in the same group as Rutgers, Nebraska, Purdue, etc. is laughable. There are 64 P5 schools plus Notre Dame & BYU and KU would be ranked #66 over the last 10 years. And it's not even close. The next worst program over that period probably beats KU 9 out of 10 games.

KU is 5-84 over the last 10 years in Big12 play! That is historically bad for a P5 program.

Well, like I've said elsewhere, it's dangerous to invest in potential but with B1G money KU has it.

But I truly believe ISU has more. ISU can/will do more with their B1G checks that any other AD (or University for that matter) in the B1G if given the chance. That means as an athletic partner, an academic partner, and a research partner. We would 100% ADD value to the B1G.

Who adds more actual eyeballs to Big Ten football and basketball, Rutgers and Maryland or Kansas and Iowa State? I’d be shocked if it wasn’t Kansas and Iowa State, and I’ve got to think someday that kind of thing will matter.

If the Big 10 takes Kansas (they won’t…at least not right now) then let’s put the “football is all that matters” statement to bed. KU has horrible attendance, horrible facilities, no football fans, and consistently has the worst ratings in the P5 (and many sub-P5 schools).
