What if every Cyclone fan did that? Just saying. How many is too many to look the players in the eye and say, "That's on me."
To each his own, of course, but if I have to sit next to a Hawk fan I'm going to take it out on the season ticket holder, ever so subtly, over the remaining games.
Lol at the bolded part

I’m not leaving $100-$200/ticket of value on the table just so I can be sure I don’t sell to an Iowa fan

Fair enough man, value what you value. To me, I'd absolutely sell a ticket to an ISU fan for $200, versus an Iowa fan for $3/$400 if that's what the market is paying at the moment. To me, it's absolutely worth it.

So are they completely sold out? Or is there an allotment for the donor levels who haven’t had a chance yet?

It would be too bad if people are buying tickets they don’t plan on using so they can sell them to hawk fans leaving Cyclone fans ticketless during the biggest season ever. You’d think you’d want full home field advantage this year.

I am all for trying to get extra tickets in the hands of Cyclone fans - generally if we can't go we give them to fellow Cyclone fans. But if there are no takers I have no problem with people deeply gouging the likes of hawkeyes or jayhawks. The deeper, the better...

If there is anything worse than traveling to an opponent's house to watch your team get shellacked by the home team it is paying a whole **** load of money for the tickets to watch your team get shellacked by the home team.

Buy season tickets and they won’t be ticketless.

Best gouging ever was the NCAA tournament in Des Moines. Happened in 3 wonderful steps:

1. Iowa fans paid exorbitant prices only to see their team fall apart.
2. Iowa fans had to sell tickets at a steep loss.
3. Kansas fans still had to pay exorbitant prices, albeit not as exorbitant as Iowa fans.

There is always way to many hawk fans in Jack Trice for this game. I wish so many Cyclone fans wouldn't sell them.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say it’s not nearly as bad as Husker fans used to be.

That was just plain creepy.

How is UNI first game of season single game tickets availability looking? Will I have a chance to grab "5" tickets in any of the lower sections you think? My daughter is taking her ISU visit/tour day that Friday before the UNI game - making an Iowa State celebration weekend out of it (we live in KC) if we can get tickets to game. I am hoping I can still buy some come Aug18th when they go on sale to general public. If not, I will be looking for some help to snag some for sure. Go Cyclones!

Not looking too good, although the app was not working well for me, didn't really see seats together available for that game either and certainly not in the lower level. None for Iowa.

Yeah I don’t really understand the whole “never sell to a hawk fan”. If someone’s willing to pay the market price to get into a game, they’re going to get in so why should I care if I sell to them? We already sold half our tickets to the game and I couldn’t care less who bought them.

I’ll add if cyclonefanatic was crawling with people ready to pay market price for a high demand game I would start here first but I think everyone knows that’s not the case

To me, some of it depends on how well you know who you're sitting by. I once had to miss an ISU/iowa MBB game due to a kid's Christmas concert. Sold the tix to someone on CF at a decent price. Turns out they couldn't make it and they resold to hok fans. I had an email yet that night from the guy sitting next to me who was upset. Even when it wasn't my fault, I felt pretty bad about it, because I know how annoying it is sitting next to iowa fan.

Chances are, I'll have a couple of tickets up for sale for the iowa game. Good seats, but my wife's sister is getting induced earlier that week and she's probably skipping. I wouldn't sell them to an iowa fan even if they paid full season ticket price for those two seats. For a Cyclone fan, I'd probably sell for $200 and I will probably end up just giving them away to some friends that want to go. I get that money's money. But I'm not about to ruin my fellow fans' experience and I get a lot of joy in bringing people along (ISU fans) that don't usually get to go to games.

I've given away a lot of tickets going into Hilton to families who need one for the kid they are trying to bring in. They just need a seat to get in and I'm glad to oblige. Get those Cyclone fans started young!

I hate this. Then they jam 5 ppl into 4 seats. And yes… I have seen ppl try this at Hilton. It’s garbage.
