Just went to the site and saw the same thing. UNLV must have figured it has ripped off as many ISU fans as it could. Now it is selling 300 level tickets between the 35 yard lines, which are great seats, for only $33 including fees. Glad I waited. Several in my group were contemplating skipping the game due to the cost, but not anymore.

I see some people are buying up $33 tickets in 300 and listing them on StubHub for $85.

Thinking of selling my tickets in section 207 for about half price and picking up newly opened up sections.

Because the UNLV Athletic Department specifically took Iowans to the cleaners on this one.

Someone just quoted today that either the stadium or Vegas (not sure what they were implying) wouldn't be ready for all the ISU fans. I'm sure Vegas or an NFL stadium can't handle 10-15 thousand football fans.

And because Iowans are rubes and they prove it over and over.
They are still working through lots of issues. They had 1 preseason game and it was challenging The first college football game will be BYU vs Arizona Labor day weekend

By the time ISU and UNLV play many bugs should be worked out. Just pray that the coinless concessions system does not go down.

Hope they get the pluming fix. It’s actually very unhealthy.

So, for those of you playing at home, that is a $132 difference between 200 and 300 level seats. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more ripped off. Kudos to those that waited.

Not exactly sure.
I guess I don’t know how it works, the Raiders can handle that many fans obviously, but I don’t know how involved they are in a UNLV game being played there. Is this going to be the highest attendance UNLV has ever had? Obviously LV can handle all the fans hotel wise/restaurant/whatever else. It sounds like the stadium on its own is already having significant problems though.
Knowing several people who work/worked Vikings games, from what they say, the pro games typically have a set group of individuals that do the same jobs for each game. They are stationed at the same place typically and they do it to get into the games and a few extra bucks. Other games/events are finding people (generally have a group of people they pull from) who are available on that day and time. Many times it is whoever they can land, so the non pro games can be anywhere from well run to a complete cluster f depending on the availability that day.

I've got 5 tickets in 225 that I'd sell for face value at $165. Would like to get 5 of the $33 tickets instead. Long shot I know, but figured I'd toss this out there! DM if interested!
