I am borrowing that fantastic little phrase.

Had supper many moons ago with friends of CWW#2 in San Francisco. Dude had a full sleeve piece of classic Japanese art. It was the most magnificent tattoo I'd ever seen. He told me since it was true art he was totally invested in keeping his arm hairless and babied his skin, the canvas. 30 years ago, I wonder how it looks now.

So, does Boxster have arm tattoos? That would be a negative. The canvas is too old and not taut enough and it's medium density forest land.

Did you take that during a full moon? Second question, are werewolves really enemies of vampires?

Not a tattoo guy at all but considering an upper arm tat of the Jack Trice patch - likely in black (inverse of the far right below).

I have my apt for Monday, may be the first to get the 5-bar logo tat. Going to keep it simple and at first it will just be the solid black stripes. Have a few ideas for dressing it up a bit in the future if I get the itch.

Mine got pushed back to November. I'll post a pic then.
Our local shop is just insanely backed up. I booked my July consult in March. The proof will be in September, with the first session in November. Was originally hoping to have mine done for the UNLV game but COVID shot that all to hell. I'm getting an upper arm wrap with the Campanile and Four Seasons fountain, Jack Trice statue, and part of a Grant Wood mural from inside the library. Eventually I want to turn it into a 3/4 sleeve with athletics stuff on my lower arm.

I've seen a couple of Jack Trice five bar tattoos in the Des Moines area. Both looked pretty good, the better of the two, in my opinion, was just the five bars spaced correctly without anything in between them.

I know! The place I'm going to is booked 6 months out. I like the idea of adding some ISU landmarks into a sleeve. You have me thinking about that. Send me a pic of yours when it's done.

Was supposed to have my first sitting (inner arm) in about an hour, but the artist got sick. :( I already had four sittings scheduled through January so hopefully it won't push it back - the shop is currently booking in July 2022. Also hoping the artist is just normal sick, not COVID, because my second sitting (outer arm) is next week.
