Texas A&M fans are apparently just as arrogant as Texas fans:

I'm going to need some more details WTF is going on here? Other than some AM guy thinking he's cool with his boots and a fake sword.

I'm wondering if he kicked the guy on the ground because they were trying to pull the old high school prank of pushing a guy backward over a guy who gets down on all fours behind him to trip him. Unfortunately we don't see what happened just before.

It's the Texas A&M Saber incident. The last time their Corp leader held an actual saber on the sideline because he wielded it at SMUs male cheerleaders for running on the field and doing a celebration after SMU scored on them. May be more to it, but that's the gist.

Edit, found the recap of the incident:

Late in the second quarter of the Oct. 31 game, following an SMU touchdown that made the score 12-0 en route to a 27-7 victory, SMU's male cheerleaders ran onto the astroturf at Kyle Field to spell out 'SMU' with their bodies. A&M tradition prohibits visiting cheerleaders from going onto the playing surface.

Hood, the officer of the day and responsible for the general behavior of the Aggie student body, rushed onto the field after the SMU cheerleaders, brandished his saber and thrust it threatenly at one of them. Another cheerleader knocked Hood down and Texas A&M security officers and one Aggie football player stopped the scuffle.

He got suspended for a semester haha

Expanding on the above:

Looks like SMU spelled out SMU on the field after a TD. 'Aggie rules' forbade the visiting cheerleaders from gracing the Kyle Field AstroTurf with their presence.

Okay. It also happened in '81 it looks like so that makes more sense. Doesn't surprise me. A&M people are weird. I swear they all have to take a class before the graduate about how to be an overconfident, I'm right, you're wrong, persona. Must be part of the requirement to get that ring.

They could be called the A&M Circlejerks and it would fit them perfectly.

Let them talk. Playing at a very low level in the first game seems to be our thing…. Overconfidence doesn’t help win games. Sure, if you look at last week you would think we are KU….

I don't even understand how you start doing this. Like I get cheerleading and all of that. However, at what point do you start coming up with all these little stupid movements and all of that. It's just so strange.
I'm good with the yell leaders. Strange but still kind of unique.
