They went with Big 12 so technically true but kind of weird to say when the old Big 8 teams 'joined' since it was essentially the Texas teams joining the Big 8.

Yeah, about that. I figure that streaming ads must get tailored to the viewer. It makes sense for me to get their ads, but I have a hard time believing that Nordstrom Rack is choosing a college football game to deliver its message to its target audience in general.
