The PA announcer said, "to be seen on the video board, a mask must be worn over your mouth and nose"..... Funny how not 1 person wearing ISU gear ever made it on the big screen. Must have only applied to UNLV fans.

Husband volunteer coaches rec soccer league for kids, and he has become friendly with another coach that's also a Cyclone fan.

Friend was in a suite at Allegiant last night, was back in the DSM metro to coach a game at 1p and another at 3 today.

Husband called out "Did you get any sleep?" He responded with "I got three hours!"

So for those that were there what did you think of Allegiant Stadium?

By far the coolest looking stadium from the outside I've been to. The black exterior with the Vegas Strip on one side and the mountains on the other make it very picturesque.

Wasn't as impressed with the inside of the stadium as I thought I would be. Pros were definitely the food options and overall accessibility of the amenities. I wasn't a huge fan of the video boards or the roof of the stadium, especially compared to some of the recent modern stadiums that have been built. I personally liked Jerry World a little better, but it's still damn nice and I would love to go back for an NFL game at some point.

We were eating at the Mexican Cantina in the Mandalay shops area and we here a loud clank. We look out on the floor and a guy in an ISU shirt dropped his empty beer can and was staggering so bad we thought he was going to fall over.

We we finished eating and headed to the Michael Jackson ONE show. We see the guy headed back the other direction still upright and still staggering. Drunkest ISU fan we’ve seen so far during our stay In Vegas.

To be fair, when the screen showed an ISU logo the camera man panned slightly to remove it off the screen.

Their band sounded awful in the stadium- much too small. And the sound system was really bad, but we sit at the height of the video board at Trice so we're used to perfect (if not loud) sounds.

The second announcer was oddly-intersperced. Like a rap hype man or something. Overall the game production seemed a few notches lower than Trice.

It was nice, but I'm assuming the best amenities were for the luxury areas. I didn't find it particularly different than other places, except it was in Vegas. Idk, beyond the exterior archetecture, football is not meant to be played inside. Seems cavernous.

Yeah it seemed a bit like one of those AND1 videos at times.

We got tickets in a handicapped seating area (no idea why, not needed or requested) so we were right under some A/C ducts. It was freezing where we were - we literally were relieved to get back outside to warm up. That double decker bus was also a meat locker.

What section were you in? My section wasn't padded.
Agree to disagree on bathrooms. Maybe the one by us was just a disaster.

C133. Maybe you should contact JP and he can give some advice on bathroom maintenance to the Allegiant staff to get them up to JT standards….

Just an average stadium….Nothing to see here folks.

They blocked off the bathrooms on the ends in the 300 level then had to open them. Guessing they have protocols for UNLV games and we blew past the normal capacity

Yeah could have been. I still feel like there were more fans there than announced attendance

Me too. Every time I went on the concourse there was a lot of tailgating going on lol.
The nice thing about the concourses were water/beer on ice by the stairs going down.
Didn't have to go to the concessions.
