Notre Dame's run plays remind me of ISU run plays with Noland and Kempt. Gee, the QB is absolutely no threat to run, I think we should keep running this read option type of run play. Hmm. Why is the defense swarming my RB????

Wisky should of had a pick 6 on defense but dropped it.

Their offense gets a FG to go up 3-0 on ND

The left side of Notre Dame's line is pitiful. And Coan really stares down his receiver. Might be a long season for the Irish.

Minnesota down 7-3 to Bowling Green, one of the worst teams in FBS. Big 10 west is maybe as weak as it's ever been. Nebraska might be the second best team behind Iowa. Mertz for Wisconsin is not good at all.

Agreed.

I think the Iowa - Wisconsin game could be interesting. Two solid defenses against two mediocre QBs.

Iowa may just walk into the B10 title game at this point. Pretty sweet they don't play MSU, Mich and Ohio St.

Looking at Georgia, OU and Oregon's schedule, they will all most likely lose in the next month. If Iowa beats Penn state at home and maryland on the road they may end up as the initial 2nd ranked team...who would have saw that coming...

Gosh, why couldn't we just show up to that game?

Yeah, Iowa may have the easiest path to a conference title game I think there has ever been in any conference.

They aren't as bad as a lot of ISU fans want to believe, but they will only face 1 (very possibly 2) ranked teams the rest of the way, and one of them will only be ranked because they're in the same week boat. And the unranked teams are absolutely horrible. Minnesota was supposed to be good and can't even have a lead on Bowling Green at home at half. Wisconsin has a great D but a sub-average QB that is single-handedly going to keep them out of any contention this year.

I absolutely think Iowa is a good team, should be ranked, etc.
But the West is especially bad this year.

Agree. Their D is great, their O is average, but for as limited as Petras is, he doesn't turn it over which will keep them in just about any game.

Their offense is better than Sconnie for sure.
Their defense is lights out. Knew their secondary was really good but overall a good unit.

Don’t worry, the annual Purdue and Northwestern losses are coming.
