We owe Purdy a massive sum of thank you for what he has done. That said, I'm looking forward to 2022 and seeing how the QB competition plays out.
Purdy has had a tremendous career for Iowa State, but he’s failing on the biggest stage right now. Expectations are high and he’s been bad this year. I appreciate everything he’s done, but we need him to be good this year and he’s failed thus far. We’re on our way to a 6-7 win season and a lot of it has to do with bad quarterback play. It’s the truth. Until he turns it around, he’s been a bust when it matters most.

Coach Mac used to coach special teams on his own, maybe they’re taking that approach

This has no relevance in that whatever they are doing hasn't worked, isn't working, and likely won't work in the future. If they were able to fix the longstanding issues with the coaches we have it would already be fixed.

We need someone else. Like now.

Was there not a blatant hold/block in the back right up the middle early in that kick return? I literally wasn't worried about it while he was taking it to the house cause I thought it was for sure coming back
