My point about Aaron Rodgers not having a vaccine shot and getting covid is irrelevant in the Arron Rodgers got covid and is going to miss the game Sunday in the thread titled Aaron Rodgers? Got ya
It's ok you don't get it.

Even if he was vaccinated he could get it just as easy. Many have
Not really sure why anyone would rate this as dumb. It’s a fact.
Over 50% of the positive tests at the company I work for have been fully vaccinated. No, if you are vaccinated you can't get it "just as easy", your odds of getting it are lower. Can you still get it? Yes. "Just as easy?" Now that's why it's dumb. It isn't a binary result.
Local factory in the town south of you are seeing close to the same thing.Over 50% of the positive tests at the company I work for have been fully vaccinated.
It depends how long ago you got the jabs. They are very effective at first but they seem to wear off after a few months. Three months out from the jabs very low odds.....one year out not so much. No, if you are vaccinated you can't get it "just as easy", your odds of getting it are lower. Can you still get it? Yes. Its not though. Not really sure why anyone would rate this as dumb. It’s a fact.
Guessing that a recommendation for annual shots for average people and every 6 months for the immuno-compromised will come down soon.It depends how long ago you got the jabs. They are very effective at first but they seem to wear off after a few months. Three months out from the jabs very low odds.....one year out not so much.
Actually it’s 3-4 months out. Remember the vaccinations were not readily available to a large portion of the population until March. It depends how long ago you got the jabs. They are very effective at first but they seem to wear off after a few months. Breakthrough cases happen. But they are rare, and certainly not "just as easy" as among those who have not had the vaccine.
Nice anecdotal evidence. Too bad statistics for a much larger sample size don't back it up.Over 50% of the positive tests at the company I work for have been fully vaccinated.
That seems about right. Where I work multiple people have tested positive last couple of months who have been vaccinated..Where I works shots were available and given in January.Actually it’s 3-4 months out. Remember the vaccinations were not readily available to a large portion of the population until March.
If the vaccine is acting like it should, reducing the effects of Covid, then there is a high probability that there are probably several that have it that don’t even know. Last October, (when the rest of my family got it so it’s an assumption) I apparently had it and never knew until my blood donation told me I did. I never went in because I never felt off.About half our county is vaccinated. The weekly data from public health shows the percentage of those testing positive in our county that are vaccinated to be usually around 10%. A couple of weeks it was 20%, that was the highest.
There are actually alot of studies showing breakthrough cases are rare. So your personal anecdote about you and Colin Powell is more reliable than scientific studies on millions of vaccinated people? No they are not rare. It happened to me. Colin Powell just died from covid after having been vaccinated. The vaccine does not stop you from being able to test positive. So it is in fact a fact. I actually am vaccinated and tested possitive after thinking I had a slight flu.

What do you consider rare? According to CDC, roughly 16-17% are breakthrough positives. There are actually alot of studies showing breakthrough cases are rare. So your personal anecdote about you and Colin Powell is more reliable than scientific studies on millions of vaccinated people?
Not sure why there is such hysteria over vaccinated people getting Covid.. Nothing is 100% but they almost always have mild symptoms. This should be viewed as a good outcome. The vaccine has prepared your immune system for a virus that almost everyone will eventually encounter. If the vaccine is acting like it should, reducing the effects of Covid, then there is a high probability that there are probably several that have it that don’t even know.
