True, but the dude is such a great human being to the point where he is completely estranged from his family, so I'm not sure what his family does means anything at this point
Eh, I don’t really hold that against him because it sounds like a lot of people would be estranged from Rodger’s family.

Eh, from what stuff I've read and Aaron Rodgers character he has shown elsewhere, sorry, I side with his family. The dude is an A-1-A turdburger and what he did just recently is right on par with his character. My level of shock by what Aaron just did is zero.

If only Aaron would have followed his fiancés protocol of airing out in the sun his genitals more, there is no way he would have gotten sick and no way anyone would have found out. This is on you bro.

Does it change anything on the coversation that he said he was "immunized", not "vaccinated"?

Not at all. He has put them in a terrible position. Especially if they knew about his petition to the league and that he wasn’t vaccinated but ignoring protocols. LeFleur pawned off the questions about the lies by saying that’s a great question to ask Aaron

Thing is Rodgers is the defacto boss of the Packers and GM and coaches are subservient to him. They gave that to him to keep him happy because he's their ace and they would suck this year without him. Next year, who knows, gotta think he's gone somewhere.

I'm surprised, not shocked. The surprising part is he would go so far to deliberately mislead people. This is definitely going to be a situation where the coverup will be worse than the "crime" of just admitting he didn't want to be vaccinated.

A reporter asked whether he’d been vaccinated, he replied, “Yeah, I’ve been immunized.” So the "yeah" part is a lie given the original question. He could have said "no, I'm not vaccinated but I am immunized" which would have certainly led to more questions, but he was being intentionally deceptive.

Did he mean that he had it and gotten over it?

You wouldn't think as highly of it if you've seen what goes on in the kitchen at those places. They are disgustingly dirty, especially the one in Urbandale.

Dirty food helps build your immune system and prevent Covid. ;)

Mice feces and urine build immunity!

only in terms of nfl punishment.

He deliberately misled people, but crucially for him not the NFL or the team. He'll get fined for not wearing masks during interviews and for attending that party. The Packers will be fined for allowing him to not wear masks during interviews.

Stephen A "He's a Bad Man" Smith has weighed in. Rodgers is a "liar" and a "coward". Says Rodgers has to be suspended.
This will get interesting.

Damn it, with that ass-hole weighing in I'll have to shift to supporting Rodgers since Smith is on my list of worst people alive in American.

I dont think you know much about his personal life then. Shaileen Woodley wouldn't be caught in a million years dating a Trumper. He's a hippie.
I really don't think you can tell a lot about him politically, but you look at these types of individuals, quarterbacks, golfers, these elite athletes who spend a lot of time alone and by themselves...they become ******* weirdos. Golfers who spend all day on the course alone, or with their caddie, who live in their own heads and are used to being at the top of their own food chain. When someone else comes along and tells them what they have to do...they usually don't respond well to those sorts of mandates.

Being said, this is the most selfish and pathetic thing Rodgers has done. Misleading reporters/the public. I get it, your health isn't our business...but you still lied. Throwing unvaxxed teammates under the bus. I've really respected how Rodgers has handled this season, both on the field and off. His appearances on the Pat McAfee show have been incredibly candid, but what am I supposed to believe now?

All in all, I don't really care. He's ****** up my fantasy team this week and next. In the grand scheme of things and life, it doesn't really matter and doesn't affect my life.

He would have to be a sociopath given what he has said about Trump for me to think that he was a fan of Trump.

But you can still be really conservative and hate Donald Trump (John McCain just one example).

My gut tells me he's more on the hippie portion of the political spectrum but that could just be his hair.
