Yeah this dude is on a 3 year contract with an AAV of $900k to coach 20 year olds to play football. He better take it seriously.

This is a bad look but its honestly what their program needs. That place is a mess, it's a gut job rebuild type of thing that is going to take some time. They haven't hit rock bottom yet, its going to be glorious.
It's funny to me because I remember Coach Skladany having a melt down like that in the halftime locker room at KSTate in 2000. It was either 49-0 or 56-0 at halftime and he was just F bombing and yelling that "if we didn't come back and win we were going to start running as soon as we got back to Ames and we weren't going to stop until he got tired of watching us".
Me being me it was really hard to not burst out laughing at his rant, but I managed not to.
Is it a bad look though? There's certainly some unsavory language but this is high level college football. I'd venture to guess these "discussions" are commonplace.
Conor McCaffery has outed himself.I was always more worried when they quit yelling.
I'll never forget in high school after a particularly bad half of basketball our coach coming in and very calmly singling out myself and another guy and saying "I've been involved with basketball for a very long time and you two may have played the worst half of basketball I've ever seen anyone play." That one stung a bit.
This obviously has bad language in it but here are another couple rants from a Texas coach back in the day:
