This is a bad look but its honestly what their program needs. That place is a mess, it's a gut job rebuild type of thing that is going to take some time. They haven't hit rock bottom yet, its going to be glorious.

Is it a bad look though? There's certainly some unsavory language but this is high level college football. I'd venture to guess these "discussions" are commonplace.

It's funny to me because I remember Coach Skladany having a melt down like that in the halftime locker room at KSTate in 2000. It was either 49-0 or 56-0 at halftime and he was just F bombing and yelling that "if we didn't come back and win we were going to start running as soon as we got back to Ames and we weren't going to stop until he got tired of watching us".

Me being me it was really hard to not burst out laughing at his rant, but I managed not to.

I was always more worried when they quit yelling.

I'll never forget in high school after a particularly bad half of basketball our coach coming in and very calmly singling out myself and another guy and saying "I've been involved with basketball for a very long time and you two may have played the worst half of basketball I've ever seen anyone play." That one stung a bit.

I think its more about it getting out that is the bad look, shows just how bad things are there. Personally I don't see any problem with it but in 2021, it's tough to see this not getting made into a big deal.

It's not the best look for the coach, but I've seen much worse. What I take from this is that the fact a player decided to record this and share it says a lot. Probably not the first time the team has gotten a talking to like this and maybe some of them have had enough. But to post it? Yikes...their culture roots are just rotten at this point.

Sharing that is pretty much a **** you coach and this entire cow ****, flank steak, leather chew toy program, because that player is outta there after this season.

Their team did quit in the 3rd so I would be pretty pissed too. A pissed off coach, no biggie.

Yeah, there's 100% a problem there. As someone who just left an extremely toxic workplace where meltdowns like that happened a lot I can say easily someone who has temper tantrums like that over people having fun shouldn't be coaching.

And yeah, for a player to feel comfortable recording that and put it online it says a lot about how the players feel about their coaches. This probably isn't a first time thing if someone was able to react fast enough to record most of the meltdown

Overall, it's pretty funny that we're less than a year in of Sark and this is already going on. Texas in the SEC is going to be really meme worthy going forward.
