Kalscheur looks to be a good player

He's the most polished and poised player through two games.
Brockington makes more contributions to wins with big rebounds and stronger paint touches but also has a few more mistakes.

Really encouraged by this backcourt. Hunter is really close to a coming out party.

Brockington and Kalscheur make a good tag team, but I like that there’s a debate. It means we have might have a salty group this year even if the wins dont show it.

Id bet good money on Hunter to get a triple double this season, and also like three steals and a block. He has the makings of a stat sheet stuffer

Kalscheur can’t throw the ball in the ocean and is sloppy with the ball, but he makes up for it in other ways. I like the effort, ball movement, defense, etc. Hopefully shots start to fall for him. He’s getting pretty good looks.
You’re right, Curt. My post is totally dumb. He’s shooting 3 of 14 from deep, 11 of 28 from the field, and has a 2:1 turn over to assist ratio, but my assessment is way off.

It is amazing how a team can make up ground against "better players" when they as a team get after it defensively. I said before the season that they would be fun to watch. Certainly looks like that is the case. I wish I could be in Hilton with them for some of these games.

Seems like when I saw him play for Minnesota, I always thought he was a bit overated, a good shooter but kind of a one trick pony, he just hovered around the 3pt line and waited to shoot 3's but you can tell he put in a lot of work on attacking and creating. If he can continue to score in the variety of ways we've seen so far, he's going to have a huge year. He's a much more complete player than the guy I remember playing for the Gophs.

I really like what Caleb Grill has brought from the sixth man role. He’s knocking down threes and is everywhere defensively.

He flies around, I LOVE the energy he and Jackson bring. They are relentless on defense and are two or our best shooters. They are a great compliment to the starters.
