he can play qb,wr,etc. what a good story for the cyclones.

What positions does "etc." represent?

And I wouldn't pencil him in as a QB anytime soon since he was benched at that position in JUCO after completing about 25% of his passes, I believe.

He'll be a receiver for certain.

After hearing Lemming talk about our recruiting, I've changed my tune and think he's a risk worth taking at this point.

neither of us know...but more power to ya if you want to be negative.

I guess you and I have different definitions of Negative. Just commenting on what had been discussed before on this recruit. There were questions surrounding this kid with regard to discipline with his JUCO team that were never answered. If asking these questions again makes me negative then so be it.

You know what,... here you go.

Welcome to the Cyclone family Money. We are so happy you choose the good guys. I promise to cheer super loud for you next fall. Can't wait to meet you and your family.

Is that better?

My prediction...

This kid never plays a down of football for Iowa State University.

I tend to agree. There are definitely some warning signs.

He appears to have a very deep and loving support system with his family.

His brother appears very intelligent and supportive. Yet, his grades weren't high enough in high school and he had to go the JUCO route. It doesn't appear that smarts was the issue based on his bloodlines, so it had to be effort.

Then, while at the JUCO, he's kicked off the team...at a JUCO.

Have we ever recruited a kid who was kicked off his juco team?

Has anyone?

Wow. If that is the case, then maybe I'm wrong. Do we have an confirmation on that beyond his brother. Does anyone know what schools still had an offer on the table. Specifically anyone not related to the kid?

What a great addition to the Cyclone family. I think its great that he has offered to play whatever position. Just goes to show he wants to play and contribute wherever he can. Welcome to the Cyclones Money.

I believe the city was going to tell us once he told the other schools of his intentions.

I'm sure he'll give us the list.

Most likely.

There should probably even be press releases soon from the schools he turned down informing their fan bases that they lost out on this can't miss talent.

Look I hope this kid comes to Ames with his head on straight and can kill on the field and off. I just don't think he is the "Get" some people think he is. Plus anytime members of your own family gloss you "Money"............ well.. anyway.

Wow Lenny, you need to slow down here. Sounds like your opinion of Money is about as popular as mine of Jon Miller on here. Money and Jon...the two biggest CF celebrities!

no kidding [/quote
How is that hate. Just pointing out the facts. Was it really the great recruiting skills of Paul or did this kid wear out his welcome with other schools and had no other legit place to go. There is a difference.

So you claim to be pointing out the facts and then later ask for the facts? Hilarious!

I just can't get as excited about this kid as some other posters I love 4 star recruits but I'd like clean high school 4 star recruits.

At this point we can't choose what kind of recruits we get, especially when they are 4 stars. Right now, I would rather have bunch of 3/4/5 stars committ with shaky pasts than a bunch of 2/no stars committ and have them be great kids with no talent. We need talent on this team and this is obviously a great start.
