I'm trying to keep my expectations low, but it is going to be hard. Memphis's undisciplined style was the perfect system for this team to exploit. I want to see this against a veteran team like Iowa before I get too excited for what could happen this season.

This is where I am. I want to see us play a talented and well coached team. I'm expecting us to be a bubble team at this point. Hell of a job so far! Loving this!

I think he’s improving steadily. Going to be a big part of our success this year.

This is the kind of team that I think will play better in the underdog role.

The best part about this weekend is Xavier and Memphis will both be huge resume building wins later in the year. I think both of those teams will be in the top 2 or 3 in their conferences and definitely tourney caliber teams.

Someone in another thread compared this to Floyd's team with Willoughby and Pratt coming out of nowhere. That's a very apt comparison.

What a fun day! Got to see a great football game and watch the best senior class in the history of the school come out with a win. And got to see a surprisingly great Iowa State basketball team win their second game against a ranked team in 2 days.

As Eric Heft says, all days are great days to be a Cyclone, but some are better than others. And today was better.

Great day. And not a bad comparison. They came out of no where. This team could do the same, are so far.

Who is our Cato. George still improving. I'd like to think Tre King, but still ??, even if he comes not sure about this year.

Iowa State will win. We are a better team than Iowa and the game is in Hilton. We also have competent coaching staff for the first time in 6 years.

Never understand this take. If you aren’t ranked then you are losing games. Ask the football team.

The immediate buy in on hustle and hard play, I dont know if the ego of being ranked will show up as a problem. We certainly arent going to sneak up on anyone anymore either way.

Well they will be ranked, and they deserve to be ranked. Don’t think TJ cares. Not many teams can say they are 6-0 with 2 top 25 wins.
