You honestly think Texas wants to stay around to keeping losing to Kansas?
But can they beat Vandy?

I think no team leaving a conference has ever played more than one last season. Shocked out of my shoes if they arent gone by april.I expect them to be gone this spring, but that could be a little premature.
I don’t think OU and Texas are going anywhere. Their buyout is freaking massive. 3 more years is my guess, but 1 for sure
Depends how they split teams. Do they get bama in their grouping?
That’s a big ten type of split.SEC EAST
—
Alabama
Auburn
Florida
Georgia
Kentucky
South Carolina
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
SEC WEST
—
Arkansas
LSU
Mississippi
Mississippi State
Missouri
Oklahoma
Texas
Texas A&M

Bama, Georgia, and Florida would normally be 3 of the top 4 in the conference.LSU, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M are all vastly superior programs to anything the Big Ten (West) can offer. One of those three won a national title not too long ago. Alabama is just such a Death Star that whatever division or pod it is in kind of becomes the group of death by default.
You give them the toughest teams on the road and the easy ones at home to tick off their fans.I'm really curious to see the division setup in the Big 12 especially at 14 for a couple years.
If I'm the Big 12, OU and Texas are going to Provo, Cincinnati, Orlando and Houston a lot.
This. Having them stay, even though you know they want to be gone, is some delicious revenge, especially if both schools are in a bit of a down period. Give em a few bruises on their way out. There is a ton of value in making them stay too. Imagine the validation someone like Cincy or UCF gets from winning in Norman? And the schadenfruede from forcing Texas to play at Houston is worth more than money
OU fans are almost as bad as Tx, I follow DirtBurglars a little they ALWAYS complain about having 11am K.O. There is nothing wrong with that time at all. Then if they don't win it's the officials. I really won't mind both of those fan bases being gone.

I think Alabama and Auburn will move to the East - which will balance out the two divisions better. Man, the East Sucks! Alabama has not lost to an SEC East Team since 2010 @ South Carolina, but loses to a West team most years (@ Texas A&M this year).Depends how they split teams. Do they get bama in their grouping?
