I'll get in on this
*I'm using DraftKings and they have a promo for two 50% profit boosts in the SEC Championship game

$50 for Georgia -6.5 at -115 turns into +130 for potential payout of $115.21

Also

$47.44 for Alabama +6.5 at -105 turns into +142 for potential payout of $115.21

For those keeping score at home, that's $97.44 total in bets for a guaranteed payout of $115.21

Is there a maximum bet there I assume? Otherwise you're missing some zero's in your bet totals lol

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but this is a good way to get banned from future promotions and get your account limited. Normally the terms and conditions state: "Promotional abuse including but not limited to concurrent bets that take the opposite of a market will lead to removal from promotion." For some reason, it doesn't say this on this specific promo, but if you don't think this puts you on their radar, you're wrong. Not sure if $18 is worth setting off red flags in the DK system. Just trying to help steer others from going down the same path.

Edit: A better way to do this is to use both boosts and put $100 on Alabama +6.5 at +142 on DK and then bet $126.77 on FD or another sportsbook for Georgia -6.5 at -110. Make $15.23 (only $3 less) and don't get your account into any trouble

yeah figured. To be honest, while free money is free money I think I'd have rather picked a side than taken the guaranteed 18 bucks.

I suppose however if they do these types of things often enough you could end up with a free couple hundred bucks at the end of the year.

When I originally started on DK 2 years ago I never placed any wagers outside of promos or free bets for months and made a few hundred dollars. I used my "other" account for daily wagers.

I wouldn't have bet on this game otherwise, just don't know enough about either team to feel comfortable.

My betting unit is $5, so this gets me a couple of bets that I won't feel bad if I lose.

I don’t think they care on these boosts with small limits. I think a lot of the $25/$50 max boost bets are to get the nickel and dime bettors to get comfortable putting more money down.

Did you see my edit? Better to use another sportsbook than the same one. I'm surprised you haven't gotten any notice from DK although I guess they don't really give a crap about $18 here and there. But there is a way to make $15 without doing anything risky to your account.

Probably some truth to this. And anecdotally, I do think DK is slower to ban people than other sportsbooks out there. PointsBet, MGM, and former WH all were relatively swift with the ban hammer or limiting promotional use. I think DK is more lenient. Like I said above though, you can do the same approach and use another sportsbook and make $3 less. I'd rather do that and get to keep continuing on these promotions long term. Just one man's opinion.

I lost my own silly parlay last night. They are fun but I'm not very good at them!

Oh, and who cares if OP is even betting them. Its about whether he picks well more so, isn't it? Ya'll aren't following him anyway.
