Yeah thats a really disappointing opponent if you’re an Iowa fan.

TOE fans are actually breathing a sigh of relief. They know if they faced a decent team they'd be looking at another blowout.

It would have been LSU - which has won a National Championship more recently than Clemson.

I think, should they get two teams in the CFP, conference teams should almost always play in the semifinals. NOBODY wants to watch an all SEC final game.

The other side of it is that nobody wants to watch an all SEC semi-final either. At least this way, there is a chance that one or the other will lose and avoid a re-match in Indianapolis. I think we will see an Alabama vs. Michigan Championship - which will be a GREAT match-up @ Indianapolis!
