I don't expect Iowa to do anything, but the NCAA needs to step in. Terry needs a lengthy suspension for his antics. There is trash talking and being intense and then there is what Iowa does. Brands went way over the line tonight.

I’m thinking Pollard will push for that

1.) By and large, Iowa wrestled poorly and ISU wrestled well.
2.) Iowa behaved poorly. If Iowa wants to talk trash, they at least ought to back it up and that didn’t happen tonight.
3.) Good luck with the rest of your schedule. Wrestling is made more interesting when Cyclone wrestling is competitive.

and, most importantly,

4.) Homophobia has no place in our sport. Please reject it.

Thanks for hosting tonight. See you in March.

Sincerely,
Your Friendly Neighborhood Hawkeye
Iowa State wrestled poorly at 49, 57, 74 and 84 IMO. I'm not sure where Iowa wrestled poorly. Warner can't shoot so he's going to struggle against a talent like Batista

Ya I don't like it but I feel like there's people on here who don't watch the sport except when we wrestle Iowa.
Guilty. I'd like to watch wrestling more. I guess I haven't wanted to because Iowa still dominates, and we haven't been that good.

Hopefully we are getting better.

I have to admit I do like like watching Iowa (Hawkeye) wrestling . Edit: big error, I do NOT, do not like watching Iowa anything, wrestling included.

I know little about wrestling, but I’ve seen the Hawk coaching staff talk at various events, and they seem more like they’re cutting a WWE promo everywhere they go instead of coaching a school wrestling program

I went to Iowa when the Brands brothers wrestled there. They were legit psychos then. You didn't want to run into them at the Sports Column when they were drunk because their psycho level went to 11 and they were known for starting fights.

Sounds like nothing has changed.

Iowa was down Kemer and Lee. Those are both probably bonus point losses if they go. They em wrestled a lot of backups that made things seem closer.

He went right to Pollard and did it at him. He knew what he was doing he wasn't looking above him at the crowd it was to Pollard

I was closer to Pollard than he was and it certainly didn't appear he was doing it to directly to him from my vantage point.

You all know the crazy thing is Iowa fans eat this **** up and are laughing about this thread.
When I was growing up Dr. Tom, Dan, and Hayden for the most part were classy and now look.

Growing up in the dirty loo area, and knowing Dan, through an uncle that wrestled with him, I’m not sure classy is the word I would use to describe him.

he has mellowed a lot since he stopped coaching, but when he was at Iowa, he was very driven, and the architectof what you see from modern Iowa wrestling fan

Hard to believe this staff hasn’t been able to reign in Desanto’s behavior.

They have no desire to, as long as he scores points at nationals

Getting their asses kicked by Penn st made already morally bankrupt people desperate

They weren’t drunk, think about that. They didn’t drink and were just crazy.

Getting our butts kicked by Iowa is getting old. These squirmishes happen all the time in wrestling. Considering pretty much our entire coaching staff are former Hawks, I think there's bad blood since there was no room at the inn for them on the Iowa staff.

Wow this is really ******* stupid, and of course a lie

Uhhh we don't want any opposing teams to have to worry about their safety... This rivalry is becoming wayyy to heated from our side.

Yes this is all you and your hawks have in their lives. You guys literally care more about Iowa State failing than Iowa winning.
