Not exactly sure.
My wife just asked me to put our grill in the garage in case a tornado hits.

I told her if a tornado hits being in the garage isn't going to protect the grill and if a tornado hits the grill is probably not the most important thing we need to protect.

LOL
I think she was hoping you’d wander out there and get taken out, did she ask about life insurance?

Rough 4:30 ETA for the line of storms to plow through the Omaha area. Many areas of 80-95 mph winds showing up on the doppler radar velocity product, just waiting for the storms to tap into it and focus it at the surface. Forecast models also showing a brief lull in the winds after the storms pass, but then ramp the winds up to 50-70 mph as the colder air pushes in.
They've already had sirens going in Omaha. My wife is at work in a shelter now. Storms now expected in Omaha around 345-4.

For the last 2.5 days, we've had winds from the SW, today blowing 25-50 MPH (along with high humidity), pushing along a bunch of low-level clouds. Somewhere up there it seems a bunch of moisture is available for a big precip event.

I also mean ripping 5 years in a row and 6th plowed. Not all in one year.

That makes way more sense.

Same story here on corn vs soy. 220-250 field averages pretty normal in corn on our good ground. Bean averages 55-60 in those same fields....the corn pencils a lot better. Plus we have manure.

Being out in rural area with this type of wind is interesting. Right now I’d say we’re around 40/50 mph gusts and it’s bad. Can’t wait to see what 80+ brings.

i took down a building this summer and it’s piled up waiting to be burned but this wind may just spread it out all of north of my place.
