I am afraid he may come back.
The guy has made his share of mistakes, but he loved ISU, gave us some great memories and has his fair share of amazing plays, we just remember the ones like his last play tonight. Unfortunately, I think his will to win, sometimes outweighs his ability to win.I feel kinda bad for Purdy.
Worst Clemson team in 7 years. Best ISU senior class of all time by a mile. Clemson down both coordinators. Still lost. Try again.
I mean aside from that meltdown minute in the third quarter yeah we were right there. Took two fluky plays for them to get their TDs.Did anyone really think we’d beat Clemson?
I don’t mind INT’s, but his INT’s are almost always unnecessary. There’s no risk/reward in them, just risk.
Yeah neither team, especially offenses, were all that good. They both played hard but the execution was pretty poor.Pretty boring game actually
Sub anything related to Sage and remove Steele Jantz and I may agree.Unfortunate way to lose. Respect Purdy for not sitting out. Seneca Wallace was probably the most electric ISU player, Steele Jantz had the best three games, but I think Purdy is the all-time best QB in ISU history.
It's unreal how similar all 6 of our losses wereI like that we rarely get blown out anymore and the team doesn't give up when it's behind, but you can't fall behind by 2 or 3 scores all the time and hope to "put it all together" in the final 15 or 20 minutes.

Absolutely. But I did t factor in 2-3 dumb crazy plays happening.Did anyone really think we’d beat Clemson?
Purdy just led an absolutely stacked team - studs everywhere - to 7-6.
