Thank you to Purdy and other seniors that were not so selfish and sat out watching the team they claim to love, getting beat when it would have been a difference had they played. Allen Lazard, David Montgomery would never do that.
The guy has made his share of mistakes, but he loved ISU, gave us some great memories and has his fair share of amazing plays, we just remember the ones like his last play tonight. Unfortunately, I think his will to win, sometimes outweighs his ability to win.
I’m glad he was here and thank him for everything he has done for us. He didn’t deserve to go out that way.
Lets talk about what ISU was missing
I mean aside from that meltdown minute in the third quarter yeah we were right there. Took two fluky plays for them to get their TDs.
Proud of the team. Great character and fight. Also, kudos to those in Orlando. They are real fans. To a small group of the posters on this site, I am glad the football season is over so you can spend full time bashing the basketball team.
It is not just the interceptions , he has fumbled it so many times and been strip sacked in crucial situations.
Yeah neither team, especially offenses, were all that good. They both played hard but the execution was pretty poor.
I almost feel like Purdy should have opted out, this game has to have hurt his draft stock/NFL hopes, if there were any.
It probably wouldn't have mattered. If that doesn't happen then we are just scrambling around 20 yards further upfield to get a desperation play off with the clock expiring.
Horrendous clock management there, blew 2 timeouts earlier, Brock catches a screen for 7 yards and instead of running towards the sidelines wastes about 20 seconds, then Campbell wasted another 7 or 8 seconds by not calling one right away after Kolars catch.
Not even close to "winning in the margins" in games like this.

It's unreal how similar all 6 of our losses were
We were in the game Until the QB decided it to Tip the ball to the defense. I think that will become a GIF.
It's a team effort.
Let's not forget an underwhelming Oline, WR group, secondary and defense on 3rd down.
Yet there are maybe three NFL draft picks this year. Clemson has that on the DL.
My Captain Obvious take on the game is that Breece Effin' Hall would have made a big difference tonight.
