Sage? He was barely a 50 percent passer and had more Ints than TDs in every year he played…
Very true although Sage also was at the fore front of building a program up. Sage with this team IMO probably has better stats than he ever did in real life. Better than brocks? Obviously we'll never know.

but that's why its one thing to say someone holds a record but its hard to say that someone is the best when its different eras. But that's just me

Man… what a crap way for our best ever QB to go out. Dude was a gamer and laid it on the line all the time for us over the years. Things didn’t always go our way and sometimes they did.

nothing just love for BP15!!!

Manning on the other hand…. GTFO

Our best players on both sides didn’t play. Tell me you don’t think they make a difference in this one.
Not sure I buy it but Dabo said 28 scholarship guys not available (none were opt outs). Either way, a backdoor cover by our best senior class of all time against Clemson’s worst team in 7 years does not suggest ISU would be a 10 win team in the ACC.

I really am excited for Dekkers. Once our coaches took purdy's legs from him they turned him average. Dekkers can pass 30 yards without heaving, COULD pull a quarterback sneak and has a height advantage to pass OVER the line. I hope that makes a difference next year.

They should have given him more snaps after the UNI and Iowa game. Multiple teams do the dual QB thing, but they stuck with him and his turnovers caused multiple loses.
