Over/ Under on how many more times Herbstreit talks about the San Gabriel's coming out of commercial break?
No different than when Keith Jackson called the Rose Bowl

Lol, yeah, I was just thinking about him or Musberger calling this game.No different than when Keith Jackson called the Rose Bowl
OSU’s defense has been pretty suspect all year. Michigan has rough QB play but their skill position guys are extremely fast and athletic. So I’m my opinion both things are true.

You're a bit older than me then, I only remember Enberg watching YouTube videos of old games.I remember **** Enberg calling it as well...
It will be interesting when they are playoff games. Will be some good games until the Semis, as usual. This and the Fiesta earlier have been so much more entertaining than the CFP games it's not funny.

No clue man I’m not in the announcer booth or in media. Lot of elite big12 skill guys in the NFL. Only thing I can think of is a lack of big12 defensive guys getting drafted. Once a narrative is out there it’s really hard to switch. I mean Clemson used to be synonymous with failing in big game’s now they have a different rep but it took a lot to get there. Why didn't the Big12 ever get credit for athletic skill positions all over the field when it was referred to as defense optional league? Michigan may be athletic for a Big10 team, but we've been seeing that type of play for a long time. It's not new.
Pretty much the 80s if I recall correctly? He was such a good announcer!
Yeah, seems like he was probably the announcer for NBC on a couple of those early 80s Hayden Fry Rose Bowls against maybe UCLA or Washington.Pretty much the 80s if I recall correctly? He was such a good announcer!

I’m super confused for what you are trying to say here. Not sure who is giving OSU credit for this performance.

Man if Utah could pass cover
I agree with every other part but the big 12 QB part. Before Mahommes almost every big 12 QB was a bust or was bottom 10 in the league.Yeah Big 12 qbs in particular have proven themselves in he NFL quite often. And before that it had the b st wrs and rbs that went on to dominate the nfl too.
Totally agree, ESPN has a vested interest in promoting the SEC as the best and every other conference as superior. Only reason it isn’t more blatant is because Bama is on a historical run.Orrrrr, those narratives have more to do with promoting TV properties than actually reporting what's happening on the field. I know it's odd to think that ESPN would misrepresent how good tOSU is to further promote their TV properties. They wouldn't do that, would they?
