I thought I read that after the holiday breaks it is now out. But could be wrong. Either way it isn't too much of a factor anymore. That is why you see ISU's defense in the top ten.

Must have moved from what it used to be but still at this point the effect is less and less. So there isn't too much there anymore.
If I remember correctly, it is 20 games. So a few of last years games are still included.
In the transfer era, especially when they’re immediately eligible, that metric will probably need to get adjusted.
He seems pretty good at evaluating at the end of the season/before next season to see if anything needs changed. Would assume he would do the same this year and update as needed. It looks like he started adding transfers into preseason in 2016.
Yeah it was better vs. Baylor so positive signs.
Many games overall the team seemed to struggle with it.
I haven’t noticed a problem, Robert Jones minuscule amount of attempts excluded. And even he threw one down against Baylor.

Good for you. For years I coached my daughter's soccer teams. I don't have BB tix but do have football and I had to miss some games (included a Cy-hawk game or two) because of that commitment. I would rather be a good father and a "bad" Cyclone fan than the other way around.
We scored 72 points against a good Baylor defense with Grill, Gabe, Tre and Kunc only combining for 7 points and us shooting 1-14 from three. I don't see that happening again.

This isn't a Beard coached TT team. They aren't bad but we are MUCH improved. I'm going to Ames expecting a Cyclone victory.
This years Texas Tech is on a pace to give up fewer ppg than any Beard team. It's a much bigger and more physical team than Beard ever had there, they struggle offensively, especially without Shannon but they are just as legit as they have been. Adams is just as responsible for the Beard years at Tech as Beard himself. He was also with him at UALR. TJ mentioned on the Jon Rothstein podcast that other big 12 coaches have copied Adams defense.
Oh yea, same here, especially at Hilton. It's weird how little credit people give this Tech staff, they have been playing without their best player and essentially the exact same as Beard teams. They are going to win 9 or so big 12 games and be an absolute bear to knock out of the NCAAs, just like Beards last two teams.
