The thing that bothers me so much is that it was such an obvious goaltend in live time. Nobody needed the replay to see for sure. Then the swallowing of whistles is ridiculous in the last 5 min.

The goaltend call was garbage, but can we please stop with the it cost us the game stupidity. You can’t just add 2 points to the final score and say that we win. Everything else that happened at the end would have played out differently.

Hell I was team “don’t blame the refs” earlier in this thread but two obvious points under a minute in a game we lose by one? Yah, it changed the outcome.

That's what's so hard about it.

ISU needs to finish at the rim better and be a bit more patient on offense so plenty of missed opportunities within the meat of the game, but that bad of a missed call as the game is winding down can't be accepted.

Why does this kind of stuff always happen to us? ALWAYS. That missed goaltend was right up there with the blarge, Aaron Craft, and the picked up flags at Kansas State.

Which seems absurd. We can review to overturn a goaltend call, but not the other direction? In what world does that make sense?

JFC, can you just admit that the refs not having an A game can cost a team as much as the team not having and A game. It's not like the refs don't have an affect on the game. It is a Fing fact that they do. I see the players stop when they blow their ******* whistles.

Looked at the replay. It was under 2 minutes. That’s inexcusable to miss.

Yeah. Gabe deserves more than a little slack. For a guy that was most likely low on confidence coming into tonight, he had a hell of a game and found his stroke. Calling him airball after his performance tonight is a **** move.
