I was pretty sure it had to be by our front porch cause the big old house faces north and it takes forever for snow to melt in the front yard. Was determined to go find it this morning.

When he came in from his morning dump, he brought it in and put it in his food bowl like a cat presenting a mouse.
Perhaps he is trying to send a message to you about your television viewing habits.

Here is a fun angle in staying if financials are in the mix. if he stays one more year at ISU, he becomes vested in IPERS and would be able to draw 14% of his salary for life (growing each additional year). If he leaves, he can get a refund of his IPERS contributions but no payments otherwise.
Guessing Heacock is not getting IPERS. I would suspect he's using a 403b and 457b through TIAA or something along those lines.

You must have experience here. Yes, he could have chose to opt out of IPERS to take a TIAA 403b plan. Alternatively, one can have both the 403b and IPERS

I was texting with a coach this morning about something unrelated, and I brought up the wringing of hands over Campbell going to watch his old players in a rare scheduling opportunity. You can tell they are tired of the constant BS out there about Campbell leaving. Do any of you really think Campbell wants to end up in the NFL? Can't we just trust that he loves it here? The process works with underdogs, not NFL divas. What about his history says he's about money or fame? Because he left Toledo for a Power 5 job?

Yep, I love Heacock, he's done a great job for us. Go to South Bend and kick ass...if we have not developed a guy to take his place in 6-7 years than this program was a house of cards anyway.
I'm not sure Heacock developed much in his time at ISU. He came in pre-seasoned. Developing is something that GA's and younger position coaches do.

He's saying that if the ISU program hasn't developed someone of stepping in and taking over for Heacock in the last 6-7 years we have issues. Not about Heacock developing himself.
