Random Thoughts 16: “Somebody had to do it” edition

Some of you saw my post in the ticket exchange about needing one ticket and then not needing one because my sister got one. Realized the edited title was confusing so changed it again.
Anyway, she and I are putting together a few things for the birthday girl whose dad is bringing her today. Beads, pompoms, programs from earlier games, etc. Hopefully she’s OK with them and is/will be a Cyclone fan. They’re coming from far NW Iowa and glad the snow’s not falling here today.
I have played it 25 times. Fourteen times have been a 4, four times a 5, six times a 3 and one time a 2.
So my average is still (barely) under 4 at about 3.8.
4.625 here. At least I've never NOT solved one.

At Hoyt Sherman in Des Moines. Comedian Jim Jefferies is in town on his latest tour. Bought a vip package which includes a front row seat and a meet and greet after the show.

Or getting laid, but neither the 12 pack nor the 2nd one are happening tonight.
Sister bought one so she could get in, she’d sold our other two to a friend so he could bring his daughter as a birthday present. She said she found this one all by itself in 131 and probably overpaid, but oh well. I took one for the team and sat here so she could sit with friend and daughter.
I think all four to my left were this-game-only, too. I’ll just say it’s quite different scenery sitting in row 2, but loved being that close to the action on the floor.
I kept up as much as possible with the wbb thread here and ESPN app. Let’s just say the WiFi was no better near the floor.
We've actually had better access in Hilton this year. We have Verizon, and use Samsung Galaxy S20 phones. I've been able to run the box score off the ESPN app at every game we went to, whereas in the past we were lucky to get anything at all.
