I always find it funny when watching idiot driver/motorcyclist videos and I recognize the highway. That's happened to me a few times.
Forgot to ask, do you also recognize your vehicle? J/K - it's Monday and I'm already behind. You're probably hours ahead of me on getting things done today....

Oh, lordy. I might have gotten it in three if my brain hadn't seen a green as a yellow. Such a duh moment.

County assessor stopped by. Turns out that he never reported/pulled permits for the updates/fixes they made following the storms and kitchen fire they had. In fact he called them the day or two before closing to report it to them...thanks ****.

Did you know there was a fire? Kind of shady seems like.

At least my parents know not to do that.
My father was literally a rocket scientist. He was a systems engineer at Cape Canaveral, on loan from Boeing, then when Boeing sent us back to Washington he was put on the ALCM black box project.

HOWEVER, my sisters and I pooled together to get him & his wife a computer for Christmas (they were in their early 80s at the time) so that we could send pictures of grandkids & their kids, and also follow his stock portfolio online instead of in the newspaper. We also wanted to be able to communicate with him via email. He never did get the hang of it, and the thing became a giant paperweight that MaryLou played solitaire on. His one "major accomplishment" was learning how to fwd emails. So we would get these emails with 80 gajillion fwd:fwd:fwd: layers. Fun times! :D

In the early days of email all us mainframe people did everything in CAPS. The reason being that the IBM mainframe only recognized CAPS so we had to do everything in all CAPS. When we started using email upper/lower case looked wrong because we were so used to doing everything in all CAPS.
It took a while to get used to seeing upper/lower case

Similar to how news from AP came "across the wire" in my early radio days. I can still read it that way, but it seems like shouting to me now.
