Not to beat a dead horse, but Kunc 0, Conditt 0, Enaruna 2, Jones 2. That's pretty sad. How we have won the games we have, is beyond me, so I will give big credit to this staff for being where we are. On the other hand, while there are variations off of this offense I think, I still don't see why we can't have a 2nd offense once and awhile with some post up of guys just to get it in the paint and back out, etc. to mix it up. If nothing else but for fouls. We go to the line less than most. Having said that, I'm not at practice- so apparently over the course of months, the coaches at practice must not see one guy that can make an impact there. j
It's hard to win games when your three bigs combine to go 1-7 for 2 points and 5 rebounds in a total of 47 minutes played.

Once ISU gets some better forwards into their system I think they will be back to the type of offense they had under Hoiberg but with the better defense that Otz is running. He upgraded the team big time from last year just by instilling a better approach on defense and adding some good individual scorers. Brockington doesn't pass enough but at least he gets buckets. When Otz gets another cycle of recruiting or two, I fully expect ISU to be right back up to the top tier of the Big 12.

There is a certain tactlessness about moving in conference. No poke at Enaruna there. The other transfers are different.

I doubt Ku students did they same to Enaruna. It seems like our students today just go to the lowest common denominator.

Like others have said JCL was probably told his services weren't wanted here and after suffering through the season he did last year why not go to a good winning program with your last year?

Welp poor shooting doomed the team tonite IMO. That and some illtimed lazy passes that got picked. I wish TJ would have giving Tre some more run he seemed to have the hot hand. Hell screen him open and let him shoot, it's not like the rest of the team was making it rain.

Disappointed in the loss, but not mad. Hopefully we can steal one at Tx Sat.

I disagree. Letting a team shoot 55% and 56% in each half is what lost the game.

I didn't see the ill-will towards JCL coming. I thought he represented Iowa State well in what had to have been one of the more trying years of basketball you could encounter. I'm also guessing there's more to the story than him not wanting to stick around.

Just couldn't get the offense going and shots weren't falling for some guys. I don't really understand Enaruna's playing time.
But at this point in the season this is what you know you are going to get with ISU. Some games the offense just won't be there.

If JCL was asked to leave ISU he isn’t a traitor.

You guys are thinking way to hard about this. But by choosing an in conference school I think the traitor fits.

It's a funny chant. Better than "The ball is bigger than the basket" or "Your shooting a Bowling Ball" or some other chant invented in the 1940's that the student section/band chants.
