Schute! And that is a GREAT movie and even better book (different ending than the movie...no spoilers)!

How did I never know that movie was based on a book? I'm guessing the book is aimed at teenagers, so how embarrassing will it be to read it now that I'm forty years passed that?

How did I never know that movie was based on a book? I'm guessing the book is aimed at teenagers, so how embarrassing will it be to read it now that I'm forty years passed that?

I read it in high school...but it might be OK to read now...in fact...the ending of the book is less different in a way that I think adults would appreciate it more than kids. I thought about looking for the book on Amazon last night but never got around to it...it would be a quick read but an enjoyable one. If anything...you could read it for the purpose of nostalgia.
