Yes..but we don't win a couple of our last games without him. We take the bad with the good.
…and then the traveling call he picked up without even putting down a dribble. GK drives me bonkers- he’s either the best guy on the floor or the worst, and lately it’s the later.
But the whistle wasn’t until after he traveled and was out of bounds.
The fact that we nearly blew a 2nd half 15 pt lead is 99% on TJ’s shoulders IMO, but I have to admit that was some of the worst officiating I’ve ever seen.
That last foul call on Gabe and that call giving KSU the ball on an “inadvertent whistle” were as bad as I’ve ever seen as far as trying to hand the game to the home team. Had we lost…. that would have been a travesty…. and likely another apology letter from the Big 12.

I said after that losing streak that I’d take the under 1.5 more wins. Glad they turned things around and I was wrong.
Not sure that I have ever been prouder of an ISU men’s basketball team given what they were up against. Maybe the Willoughby, Pratt, and Cato team.
That, or make sure you get it to 16 without hitting 15. Like playing 21 and making sure you avoid 13.
The last one especially. The ref started his count of 1 before Gabe even grabbed the ball and then blew the whistle right as Gabe got rid of the ball which was literally at the ref's count of 5.
You could see later in the game where Otz was asking the ref about it and the ref must've told him Gabe wasn't picking up the ball quickly enough because Otz yelled at Gabe to pick the ball up right away.
I'm still trying to figure out how they called that foul on Gabe at midcourt when Brockington threw the ball over Gabe's shoulder and Gabe got a hand on it and was trying to chase it down when that little freaking KSU guard came barreling in and ran into Gabe.
The refs are usually not good but this year is as bad or worse than it has ever been.

I was watching when we got down early. Quit watching and turned on to see Grill drill the 30’ 3 pt to put us up two at half. Turned back on with 2.5 to see us up 4. Couldn’t watch as seeing Weber’s hair just kept making go “WTF is up with his hair?”
And at the same time he has so much room to improve. Especially with TOs and shooting. If he fixes that, then he can contend for the player of the year in B12.
Tyrese and Izaiah combined for 15 rebounds. That's some serious effort.
Dude just last game he was stellar and he actually has been solid the last 3 wins. He was awful today though.
Solid of defense, but other aspects were not good. Air balled a shot just to the right of the key.
