Ben Jacobson would be a good hire for KSU.

Much like Captain Kirk (and hopefully soon Matt Campbell), I think jacobson’s windoe to leave might have closed.

That being said, I hope he doesn’t get it because Kyle green would probably be high on uni’s list.

Weber is making something like $2.5M/year with a buyout that drops to $1M after this year.

Underwood just signed a 6-year extension in September with his first four years guaranteed at $4.1M/year. He's also ranked 16 and sitting atop the Big 10 with access to Chicago for recruits and better conference revenue.

I don't see K-State making that financial commitment unless some donors are footing the bill. Also, I get Underwood's ties to KState, but unless those ties run deep, that would be a questionable career move for him.

Eh, it was low hanging fruit, and, as someone who has never been wrong (frantically deletes posting history) I couldn’t resist.

Weber’s career is wild. I don’t think anyone really thinks of him as one of the greats (I sure don’t), yet he has twice won regular season championships in the Missouri Valley, Big 10, AND Big 12, which is no small thing, even if Self maybe deserves some of the credit for the Big 10 ones (and maybe Frank Martin for the first Big 12). And after the last Big 12 championship… he has finished 10th, 9th, and 9th in the conference. Will be fascinating to see how KSU handles it.
He is what Eustachy would've been in Ames, had alcoholism not prevailed

Underwood isn't taking a pay cut to go to a lesser program. No chance he leaves Illinois to go to KSU.

I think the window opened a couple inches wider with his performance this season. But I think this is his last chance to leave while still in his prime.
