Is Weber out a KSU?

You write this as if you feel that Big 12 fans really enjoy seeing Bill Self's face get red as a fire truck when he screams at the officials during KU games.
Every coach yells at officials. If they aren't then they aren't doing their jobs.

Yeah I think he can run that league though. But I can also see him taking the KState job. He worked for Dana Altman at Creighton and Altman coached at KState so there's a small connection there.
Don't rule out Altman himself if KState doesn't land one of their top targets. He has a history of making surprising moves in his career and Oregon just doesn't seem like a comfortable fit for him. He still has family in the Midwest. I can see him being interested in a return, but is there interest on the part of KState?

I think it's going to be wide open. Murray State is a great mid-major program and a terrific addition, but the MVC is a step up from the OVC. Running a new conference right away won't be easy.
Loyola made it to the top pretty fast. I'd be curious to see if they could sustain the success beyond this year. Won't ever get to find out though.

Keno Davis. There's a name I haven't heard in about 10 years. Wonder what he's up to these days and if it'd be worth a call for K-State.

Altman left (allegedly) because he hated the athletic administrators at KSU (including registered CF user Bruce Van de Velde). He’s also making ~$1m/year more than KSU was paying Weber, and it’s really tough to argue that it’s a better job than the one he has.

Boy, talk about historical revisionism. Altman was 19-37 in conference play at K-State. He was highly unpopular and left because of it.

Perhaps. I grew up in Omaha, so it probably makes sense that we heard different versions, and probably some truth to both.

It's not a decency thing. It's a business thing.
If they owe you, get it all.
Like Bill Snyder, Bruce resigned. My guess, it was a mutual agreement that allowed him to leave gracefully, as he would have wanted, and also to get his buyout which I believe is $1,000,000.

The new deal also includes an increase in Weber's buyout. The school would owe him $2.5 million if he's fired before April 30, 2019, with an additional $100,000 the following year. The buyout would drop to $2 million in 2021, $1 million the next year and $500,000 before the final year. SI

Somehow that's a better conference record than Bruce's last 3 years.

Ouch...nice little dig toward KSU fans:

"The negativity that surrounds K-State times is really sad to me," Weber said. "This is the only school I've been associated with that I tell our recruits to avoid our social media. I'm afraid of what they'll see. Hopefully that can change, maybe with the new coach, and everybody can be positive about K-State and K-State athletics."

Someone already reported that he did receive the full buyout.
You ignored what I actually said, which is that getting your money isn't about being a good man or otherwise.

Kansas is playing a conference tournament game and Tuco is on here during it.
LOL.
I have to watch the game while sitting at my desk "working" so It's not too hard to do both. Especially since WVU isn't providing much competition at this point.
