And to “smooth the water!”Snyder came back to right the ship, as he put it. Ron Prince had taken the football program off the cliff. That was 13-years past.

Why weren't you disappointed when they re-hired Gramps? If K-State does not hire a minority head coach, I will be very disappointed. Tang has been my favorite from the get-go.
Unless you've basically already got a deal struck, how can you make this comment?Kim English getting some run. Manhattan Mercury editorial calls for hometown hero Tim Jankovich, SMU's coach. Underwood is the fan's favorite. AD Gene Taylor says he'll make the hire before the Final 4. Asked current players to be patient.
The Ron hire checked the box. Bill was brought back to clean it up.Why weren't you disappointed when they re-hired Gramps?
I don't know about all of social media, but I would certainly hope recruits and players don't look at CF when the team is struggling. This place is a cesspool when their is a loss. I wouldn't be surprised if Twitter and other social media outlets are just as bad. I don't think it's an ISU fan thing either, it's a societal thing.Ouch...nice little dig toward KSU fans:
"The negativity that surrounds K-State times is really sad to me," Weber said. "This is the only school I've been associated with that I tell our recruits to avoid our social media. I'm afraid of what they'll see. Hopefully that can change, maybe with the new coach, and everybody can be positive about K-State and K-State athletics."
This statement about diversity came 6-years after Bill was rehired. That written, now that the university's athletic department has set the marker, I'd like to see them follow through with a minority as the next head coach. There are plenty of qualified candidates. Why weren't you disappointed when they re-hired Gramps?
I suspect the K-State A.D.'s phone has been ringing since Weber resigned.Unless you've basically already got a deal struck, how can you make this comment?
LOL. If you're saying that I'm expecting a big name then.I suspect the K-State A.D.'s phone has been ringing since Weber resigned.
Regardless of who K-State hires, I'm sure you will find a reason to post something negative. Is this your popcorn hat or did you borrow it?LOL. If you're saying that I'm expecting a big name then.
I've literally been saying all week Bruce is a good guy but if you're going the route of KStates phone is blowing up, I expect a big hire.Regardless of who K-State hires, I'm sure you will find a reason to post something negative. Is this your popcorn hat or did you barrow it?

Brad is obviously dirty. Wouldn't the high moral ground you stand on keep you from supporting him at K-State?This is after the A.D. said he'd hire someone before the Final 4. That's all we know. Everything else is speculation. Let's see how it develops.
Brad Underwood is being castigated at Urbana for losing to a #9 seed today. With his temper, he's capable of saying "so long."

Kim English would be a great hire. I would think he might wait a year for the Mizzou job to open up.
He's not my favorite for his ties to the FBI sting and because I don't believe he's a particularly great coach. He's benefited enormously, as I've written, from having Orlando Antiqua's recruits. Antiqua is now on Kentucky's staff.Brad is obviously dirty. Wouldn't the high moral ground you stand on keep you from supporting him at K-State?
English would not be a particularly popular hire in COMO. I've been watching to see how they'd move on C'Martin; now their coaching search.Or not… Mizzou apparently decided not to wait.
Tang looks the part but a huge gamble. He's not my favorite for his ties to the FBI sting and because I don't believe he's a particularly great coach. He's benefited enormously, as I've written, from having Orlando Antiqua's recruits. Antiqua is now on Kentucky's staff.
But, Underwood would bring the now-shattered fanbase back together. That's why hiring him would make sense if for no other reason.
I believe Missouri and K-State will have many of the same dudes on their lists: Underwood, English, my favorite Tang, Valentine, Ford, Jans, etc. Endless.
Knowing K-State's A.D., Gene Taylor very well may have his guy long targeted. Most directors keep an ongoing list.
