the need to make the goal tending call a reviewable play. it slows the game down but for some reason refs are missing this more and more.

Is it weird that both teams seem to not be able to handle the ball? Like I’m watching these guys just lose their handle almost every other play. It’s really odd

Lol, refs are just incredibly incompetent. That was the quickest jump ball I've ever seen.

There was a play last night, I think it was in the Arkansas-Vermont game where ref made a quick call then immediately started signaling to check the monitor. It wasn't anywhere close to the right call when they slowed it down on the monitor.

It just proves they are guessing most of the time and have no idea what they are doing.

I want to also say that happened at the end of the Richmond-Iowa game. The ref actually said check the monitors before making the call. Like ummmm I think you should make a call first.

I know I am bumping an old post, but yes. Bill needs to be rescued from late night ESPN/Pac Network games. He is the best color commentator in the biz.
