I wonder what the motivation is to force him to push out assistants. Do they think he will find better assistants? Almost seems like a punishing move.

Maybe he will promote that former isu player that transferred to Nevada. Name is escaping me but he’s a GA for Nebraska

Floyd might do that...although why do I think somehow Floyd would end up being the head coach at Nebraska a year from now if he took that role??
Does Tim still have his OJ Mayo bag man? He could bring him along to replace Matt.

In all honesty...it wouldn't be all that bad of a hire for Nebraska...I know he is old but Floyd would be competitive and would out coach half the staffs in the Big Ten...ugly but they would be more respectable than they have been the past...forever!

Failure in Chicago, massive failure in Lincoln. Fred caught lightning in a bottle here and had the perfect setup. And left it, don’t feel bad for him at all.
Perfect scenario for Fred, someone starts giving him **** about his massive failure in Chicago and he could always say, "yeah well at least MJ didn't call me Pink."
