There was a reporter who covers the Chiefs who said..."I think that the Chiefs might begin a decline next year." Now before you guys get your pants in a wad...THATS HIM TALKING NOT ME!!

A REPORTER ASKED Mahomes..."What is your definition of Success"....GETTING TO THE SUPER BOWL AND WINNING IT!" Quoting Patrick Mahomes
Are you ok?

Talking about quarterbacks...You Left Out Joe Burrow....Who is about to WIN his First SUPER BOWL.
No slight intended, I also did not mention Jackson who has won an MVP or Allen. You are really going to be disappointed if Burrow ends up losing the game next week, is what it sounds like to me.

Sounds like they offered a really good deal but still not happy. Also, seems like a difficult guy to deal with given he was complaining about how he was used last year at times. Wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to trade him and be able to improve the team, especially the defense. Sounds like they might sign Valdez-Scantling. Chiefs are asking for 1st round pick and more for Hill.

He almost signed for $22M but when Adams got a massive deal ($28M?) it was over for Chiefs.

If the Jets offer #4 and #10 in this year's draft I'd take it. Keep #10 and trade back from #4 to get even more assests.

I think that's absolute best case scenario.

Thanks Hill for all the electric plays and a super bowl. Get some 1st round picks. Improve the D and get a young WR in a deep draft. Still have the best qb/coach duo in football. Going to look different but I trust them.

Don't think Jets would give up both their 1's this year. Maybe 1 this year and 1 next year but Packers "only" got a 1 & 2 for Adams.

Could be blessing in disguise. Who was the last high profile WR to be signed via trade or large FA contract that put a team over the hump?

Offense has never been Chiefs probably and likely won't be as long as they have Mahomes.

Not same situation.

Hill is younger, not on the franchise tag, and Adams wanted to go to his "home team" (Raiders in Oakland fan growing up).

Yeah from what I read they would trade the 10th pick this year plus additional first rounder next year.

I actually am pretty happy about this if they get the right pieces in return and they do indeed sign Valdez-Scantling. Clears up 20 million in cap space by trading him and they have several things to address and gives them more draft picks. They need as many young players as they can get on their first contracts.

I wish they would've freed this ~$20M up before like 75% of the impactful free agents had signed.

Waiting on extending Hill burned us twice. Should've signed him before the Davante Adams deal. And now trading him this late doesn't leave much for veteran free agent help.

Going to need a A+ draft from Veach...
