Long time Chicagoan and going Friday. If it was me I would try to stay near Fulton Market...Fulton, Lake and Randolph streets between Halstead to the east and Ogden to the west. The Hoxton, the Emily, Nobu & Hyatt House West Loop are all close...Fulton Market will be a great place to grab drinks and dinner before or after the games it is the hottest area in the city and close to the United Center...you could walk if you don't mind a 20-30 minute walk.

Does screenshot not work like they say? I bought tickets for my old man and his buddies for Milwaukee and had to have one of them download ticket app to transfer them the tickets because it said screenshots wouldn't work?
No, not if it has the moving bar across the screen like another poster said. You'll have to download the app which is kind of a pain. I can usually screenshot tickets to Jack Trice and Hilton, but I had to download the app for the Cheezit Bowl.

Screenshots not working is a good thing. I know it causes some discomfort for those that are not used to the technology, but mitigates ticket fraud, so that someone doesn’t sell you a ticket and then uses that ticket before you with a screenshot.

My only concern is your phone not getting coverage when you need to open the app.
Reception historically around Jack Trice even sucks.

(If the moving line is data necessary)

If you have an iPhone you can add the tickets to your Apple wallet for this scenario. Not sure about other phones.

Thanks for this info. We moved our reservation over there from the Hyatt. Looking forward to seeing LOTS of cardinal & gold. :}
ISU just posted a video where it look like the team checked into a Hyatt.

Anyone already going and have booked hotels but not bought tickets yet? Our plan was to keep waiting to see if the prices to drop, but they're still pretty steady. Thinking about biting the bullet and buying some tomorrow afternoon. Leaving Friday morning without tickets could be stressful.

For what it is worth, tickets for the Wisconsin game were under $100 on Stub Hub right before the game.

They've continued to drop(not much but they are dropping. Full Sessions have gone up slightly but Friday has gone down $51 since yesterday morning.
