That's why I use blackout curtains and I always have a fan when I sleep. I've converted three girlfriends in a row to sleeping with a fan now and nobody ever goes back.

Slurping cereal or soup eater. Can kind of tolerate soup for awhile. Cereal no patience. Early morning. No way.
My wife hates it when our dog licks herself too.
Agree with the noisy eaters. That's why the background music needs to be there - to drown it out a bit.
One sound that has always driven my nuts even as a child: The sound of a shovel on metal or concrete. We used to have a coal stoker furnace (98% of you will have NO idea what that is) but my father would, once a week or so, bring a pick-up truck load of coal home and shovel it down the chute into the basement. I would have to leave the area even though the sound was was outdoors and I was indoors. Same with scooping snow with a metal scoop shovel. The gritty grating sound was intolerable.
The odd thing is, if it was ME doing the shoveling it was almost not an issue.

People who always use the latest buzzwords to sound impressive.

And have you noticed people being interviewed in the corporate world seem to end the last word of each sentence at a higher pitch..... or emphasis. WTF!
Just speak.
It's like you're trying to make something more out of what it is you are saying.

I'm a bit OCD, so there are A LOT of things, but I'll list a couple.
The sound certain fabrics (like old snowmobile suits) make when rubbing together or on dry skin. Literally makes my skin crawl.
The sound of a running motor when I'm trying to sleep (my ears tend to pick up low bass sounds, probably from a combination of hearing loss and allergies). I can hear a rumbling motor a block or two away, just the vibration against the walls of the house. If I go outside to figure out where it's coming from? Can't hear it at all in most cases.

I think you just need to synergize with the latest paradigm shifts.
I'll utilize this opportunity to add "obviously" to the list. If something is truly obvious, it doesn't need to be stated as such. If something is stated as "obvious", it probably isn't obvious.
Obviously this needed to be shared.

Due to Julius and Augustus Caesar, those four months got pushed back to make room for July & August. I can't recall why those weren't placed at 11th & 12th.
If you use "we went out for dinner" but it was the mistress you went with then that person asks your wife how was dinner at Le Fancy Plates. then you're in trouble. So maybe it is a clarification issue.
