Three straight national title game appearances by Big 12 teams. Texas Tech, Baylor and now Kansas. And we're adding Houston? What a hoops league.

Kansas is finally coming together, outscoring their opponents by 48 in their last three halves.

Carolina had the resume of an 8 seed because they lost a bunch of early non con games while learning their new coaches and system. Then the ACC was down, giving them less juice for their ACC wins. They are way better than 99.9% of the teams that normally get an 8 seed. They are also playing great.

I hope Monday's game is as entertaining a game as these were.

No you don't. You want a nice comfortable 10-15 point win. Be honest.

I'd sort of like to root for Ku but it is very hard considering the recruits you typically get every year, the entitled attitude of some of your fanbase and the favoritism KU gets from the refs and NCAA over the years.

Other than that good luck. Ku is playing well and has a great shot Monday night. Good luck to the Big 12.
Ouch

I would find a nice 10-15 point win to be very entertaining. KU beat Mova by16 and that game was very fun to watch.

Not sure what you mean by "considering the recruits you typically get every year". This KU squad has zero five star recruits. It's two local kids in Agbaji and Braun, a skinny sub 100s ranked kid we poached from Mizzou's back yard in Harris, a McD's AA who needed to drop 40 pounds and who has universally derided for his erratic play over 4 disappointing seasons in McCormack and a kid we only got last second because of a coach leaving his job in Wilson.

I find this particular KU very easy to cheer for. Braun has a local rep as a kid who thinks he's "all that" but the rest are all genuinely nice kids who are easy to root for. Still can't believe they play for a title tomorrow. Of all the KU teams, this one? Crazy year.

I don't get much of a 'We're KU so we deserve things' vibe from them.

Props to KU, but the may have had the easiest road to the champiobship I’ve ever seen If you take into account both the teams they played, and getting fortunate to play teams that aren’t at full strength.

Texas Southern
Creighton
Providence
Miami
Villanova minus one of their best players

Honestly five straight games in the big 12 would be tougher than that.

What a laughable comment. Even by KU fan standards.
They don’t typically get the amount of 5 stars as Duke, UNC Kentucky. Even Zona. Just look at their starters.
Harris Agbaji and Braun were not top tier recruits. Lightfoot wasn’t either. Wilson was around 50th I think. Highest rated was McCormack but he was never a NBA type recruit.

I get what you are saying, but they can only play the teams in front of them.

Miami handled us pretty well. Same argument you just made HAS been made by our rivals about us getting to the S16.

I'd love to see the totals of McDAAs at KU and the above schools over the last 15 years. No doubt in my mind that KU holds their own. They're bringing in another three next year.
Poor KU.

And compare that to North Carolina’s

Marquette
Baylor
UCLA
Saint Peter’s
Duke

North Carolina is definitely more battle tested, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re out of gas come Monday.

It'll be such a proud moment for the NCAA on Monday night..... two of the most scandalous cheating teams meeting in the title game. Definitely a "shining moment"!
'One Shining Moment' will follow SnoopDog's new song that he wrote for March Madness-- 'That Cheatin Shade of Blue'.
