It won’t be anything like what we just had to go through over the past 7 days since he teased his comeback to steal all of the spotlight from the guys that could actually win. It’s obvious that CBS was TOTALLY SURPRISED that he was going to play.

This would be 10x better if Tiger were still in it coming down the stretch. Everyone knows it. Even the ones out there that hate Tiger know they'd rather have him still in it right now.

If this was like 2008 I would agree lol. Life moves on for non-Boomers.

Absolutely correct. Hard to overstate the impact Tiger's career has had on every high level PGA players wallet, too.

Augusta on Sunday is always a great setup. The hole locations are usually set up for high risk/reward spots, plus you always have one of the best/if not THE best fields in golf. Usually makes for some great stuff.

The Masters does not have the best fields in golf. There are several that have better.

But it might be the tournament everyone wants to win the most.

You vastly overestimate how many young people actually watch golf, and also underestimate how many of those young people grew up Tiger fans. I'm easily on the young side for a golf watcher and Tiger was dominant as I first started watching.

True, I suppose I should have left it at one of the most exclusive fields. No doubt that both Opens/WGCs could have a claim for the best.

That’s the thing, I don’t care how many people watch golf and I don’t care how many Tiger fans there are. I don’t need golf to be well viewed on Television. Tiger doesn’t make anything more or less exciting for me. That’s all I care about. Tiger is a novelty act at this point. Like Hulk Hogan appearing at Wrestlemania.

That "novelty act" made the cut over a lot of really good players. You're just gonna have to get used to it.

I feel like I heard earlier on that Scheffler's caddy also caddied for Bubba when he won both times. If I didn't make that up by accident it couldn't have hurt having a caddy that had experienced a lot of success there on the bag.
