I was in that section a few times last year. Yikes for the students, lol the corner may be one of the worst spots in the stadium
We love our corner seats. We could have moved but we like the corner.I was in that section a few times last year. Yikes for the students, lol the corner may be one of the worst spots in the stadium
lived off Duff one year so I was part of the minority that headed east.Correct. Most head to their houses/apartments or Welch Ave after a game
I just can’t see over there. I like having a clear angle of the chains. Really that’s an issue at any stadium corner though I suppose. We love our corner seats. We could have moved but we like the corner.
Seem to remember Kansas, Sooner and Texasssssss bands showing their faces at JTS. Not to mention UNI. Maybe OSU?Other than Iowa how many visiting bands even travel to Ames? Can't recall many.
I think the ISU band only makes like 1 trip to a visiting team a season (not counting a bowl game).
Thanks for coming on here Nick, is it safe to assume there won't be donations required for those that are moved to the old student section in the 2022 season, but in future years sections 37-39, X, and Y will require donations? This move is strictly being made for safety reasons. There is no financial gain in this move. The student ticket prices remain the same, as do the public ones. You are basically flipping the student section with a public seating area that did not require a donation, too.
Are you sure the student lots won’t move? I bet they do.
The student section did occupy some sections that will likely be donor sections in the future. The mirror of sections X and Y (V and U) are donor sections. The mirror of sections 37, 38 and 39 (28, 29 and 30) are donor sections. Non donors may get moved there this year but they will likely have to donate to keep those seats in future years. None of the seats that the students are moving to were donor sections up to this point. This move is strictly being made for safety reasons. There is no financial gain in this move. Calling my shot that beer will be sold stadium wide this year.Closer to wear booze is sold ... BRILLIANT!
FIFYTime to banvisitingthe hok band.
In 2023 hold onto your butts though. In 2022, there are no donations required for ticketholders who move into seats in what is now the old student sections.

Hell with that. Make stand single file on the damn bridge during the game. This is where ISU fans seats are at in Kinnick. I think we repay anyone's visiting band and fans in the upper SEZ.
